| With China’s economy entering the stage of high-quality development,it is necessary to promote the new urbanization. The new urbanization is people-oriented urbanization, which not only allows the migrants to live in the city, but also constantly improves the sense of integration of the urban migrants,so that the migrants can truly integrate into the urban life.In recent years, the pressure of high housing prices in China has been the focus of attention from all walks of life, and it is also the focus of academic discussion. In this context,it has important practical and theoretical significance to study the impact of urban housing prices on the sense of integration of migrants. On the basis of push-pull theory, social integration theory and social exclusion theory, this paper uses principal component analysis,OLS,order probit and Ⅳ method and other methods are used to study the impact of urban housing prices on the sense of integration of migrants based on China Migrants Dynamic Survey data in 2017 and price data of urban residential commercial housing based on wind.Firstly,we use principal component analysis to construct the index of migrant population’s sense of integration, then use OLS method to conduct benchmark regression on the whole sample data, and then carry out sub sample heterogeneity regression analysis on the data, then construct the instrumental variable "per capita land transfer area",use instrumental variable method to analyze the possible endogenous problems, and finally transform the model and replace the index a variety of robustness tests were carried out for the results.According to the results of empirical analysis, this paper draws the following conclusions:first, high housing prices have a significant negative impact on the sense of integration of the migrants, which is not significant for the migrants with housing property rights, but significant for the migrants without housing property rights. For the migrants without housing property rights, public rental housing can effectively alleviate the impact of high housing prices on the sense of integration Secondly, the negative impact of high housing prices on the sense of integration of the migrants is greater for the new generation of migrants and the migrants with high education level. At the same time, the lower the level of the city, the greater the inhibitory effect of high housing prices on the sense of integration of the migrants;thirdly, other factors such as age, gender, working hours, political identity, etc will have a significant impact on the sense of urban integration of the migrants.According to the conclusion of this paper,in order to improve the sense of integration of urban migrants, the following suggestions are put forward:first, strengthen the regulation of the real estate market, adhere to the policy positioning of "housing without speculation",let the housing return to the property of residence, pay attention to the "policy according to the city" in the regulation, and pay attention to the housing price problem of non first tier cities;second,we should increase housing support for migrants with just needed housing and highly skilled migrants by relaxing the purchase restriction policy, tax relief or providing housing for talents to improve their sense of integration;third,we can improve the housing affordability of the migrants by increasing the income of the migrants, which can provide vocational training for the migrants in need, improve their work skills, and then improve their work income;fourth,we should improve the housing security system and vigorously improve their work efficiency,we should develop public rental housing and other indemnificatory housing, expand the supply of indemnificatory housing by introducing social capital, expanding the supply of public rental housing, and formulating reasonable rents.Fifth,we should promote the equalization of urban public services, accelerate the reform of sharing the right of rent and purchase, and improve the supply quantity and quality of urban public services. |
