| Migrant workers are a special group appearing in the period of economic and social transformation in China,and their emergence has brought great contributions to the rapid development of China’s economy.COVID-19 outbreak in the early part of 2020 in the short term caused a greater impact on our country’s economy and society,although COVID-19 outbreak influence on our country’s economy is in the short term,will not result in long-term impact,but for specific group of survival jobs caused great influence,including migrant workers employment is seriously affected by the outbreak of the COVID-19.In this paper,migrant workers in Shucheng County,Anhui Province were investigated and studied to understand the current situation of employment of migrant workers after the outbreak of COVID-19 and the impact of COVID-19 on employment of migrant workers.Understanding the employment status of migrant workers in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak is key to helping migrant workers find jobs.So in order to understand the impact of COVID-19 outbreak of peasant workers’ employment,this paper takes Shucheng county,Anhui province as investigation object,migrant workers from rural migrant workers personal basic situation,family economic conditions,to choose to stay present situation,the employment situation,employment flow will influence factors and the view of the current employment situation from six aspects design questionnaire,through the questionnaire data analysis,targeted Suggestions for the related department,to help migrant workers stable employment.In this paper,using the descriptive statistics to COVID-19 outbreak after analyzing the present situation and problems of migrant workers employment,including whether migrant workers return to work,income,social security and other issues,the changes of using decision tree model analysis of migrant workers employment choice,based on the structural equation model,this paper analyzes the factors which impact on the local migrant workers employment intention.Through the analysis,the final conclusions are as follows:(1)the income of migrant workers has decreased,the social security is weak;(2)More than half of rural migrant workers choose local employment;(3)health status and satisfaction with family economic status have a significant impact on the employment choice of migrant workers;(4)Epidemic factors,family factors and hometown employment environment have important influence on local employment intention;(5)Although migrant workers are worried about employment,they are full of confidence in the employment situation.On the basis of this conclusion,the following suggestions are put forward to the relevant departments:(1)To solve the social security problem of migrant workers prudently,strictly regulate the responsibility and obligation of enterprises to participate in the insurance,strengthen supervision over the payment of social security,and protect the social security rights and interests of migrant workers;(2)Actively develop township and township enterprises,create more job opportunities for migrant workers who are reluctant to go out to work because of the epidemic,and help migrant workers find jobs nearby;(3)Ensuring the safety of employment protection for migrant workers,ensuring the supply of masks and other anti-epidemic articles,strengthening the awareness of self-protection for migrant workers,and ensuring the safe employment of migrant workers;(4)Expand employment channels for migrant workers,provide training services for their professional and technical knowledge,and improve their job stability. |
