In recent years,the news of child sexual abuse has become more transparent and reported frequently.While the public strongly condemns the perpetrators,it also gradually attaches importance to the development of child sex education.Among the followers,the parent group urgently needs more effective Tools for sex education.However,at present,there are conflicts in the design of children’s sex education picture book resources in the country and the concept of parents.Then,what is the current status of the publication of children’s picture books about sex education?What are the selection criteria for children’s sex education picture books? This is the problem to be discussed and solved in this article.According to the research purpose,this article researches the two levels of publishing status and audience needs,through statistical analysis and content analysis method to analyze the current domestic market circulation of children’s sex education picture book entity and consumer evaluation text,trying to draw the current problems in the publishing process of children’s sex education picture books,and put forward suggestions for improvement based on them.After analyzing the problem,this article puts forward suggestions such as strengthening graphic review,controlling value output,strictly adhering to the scientific bottom line,encouraging originality and maintaining the market environment at the level of publishing standards;suggestions for improvement from the level of creative details include: written expressions can use rhetoric appropriately,but it is not appropriate to avoid scientific terms.The degree of exposure to pictures can be metaphorically expressed according to national conditions.Both should not violate objective reality;picture books with animals as living bodies should not contain human body structure explanations;theme selection should be balanced and unsuitable over concentration,etc.At the same time,this article found that in the analysis of audience needs,parents are the first readers of children’s sex education picture books,and their judgments have a greater impact on the effectiveness of picture books,so it should also add guidance to parents’ awareness and the use of picture books,that is,the preparation of guided readings.This research is completed under the support of actual data,and the conclusion has certain authenticity,which has a promoting effect on the development of family child sex education,the publishing work of child sex education picture books,and the development of original child sex education picture books.
