Due to their physical and mental defects, children with mild disabilities are often accompanied by serious inferiority, sensitivity and timidity, which often limit the level of social interaction and lead to their social integration ability lagging behind their peers. If there is no timely training intervention, opportunities will be missed.Parents often strongly hope to send their children to ordinary primary schools rather than special education schools in the future, and they have a high degree of willingness to enhance their children’s social ability. They hope that their children can reduce their inferiority and improve their social ability before entering school,so as to lay a foundation for their enrollment. However, parents’ wishes are ignored, and there are few designs for social empowerment in special education institutions. In addition, the theoretical and practical discussions in China were mostly focused on the field of special education in the past, and the relevant research on social work intervention was also relatively scarce.Taking the "Light Escort,Walk With You" mutual aid group as an example, this study firstly explored and recorded the relevant needs and basic conditions of the service objects by means of questionnaires and interviews based on the advantage perspective theory and the empowerment theory, and analyzed and explored the advantages, existing problems and actual needs.Secondly,20 special service objects were selected, and the social ability of the service objects was tested in the early stage.Eight ordinary service objects were recruited to form an integrated education group according to the needs of the service objects.Service plans were formulated according to the needs of the service objects, and 8 specific group activities were carried out. After the end of the service, the service object was tested and the satisfaction was evaluated. In the end, this study is summarized and some preliminary suggestions are put forward. The preliminary conclusions of this study are as follows: 1.Based on the current situation,we should pay attention to the differences of service objects;2.The necessity of effective analysis and comprehensive integration of resources;3.From the root of the case,we should explore the potential advantages.Limited by time and practical experience, the shortcomings of this study are that it is easy to touch the inferiority complex of disabled children; It is difficult to communicate with disabled children alone;Children’s parents tend to have negative emotions, and the interview time is long; There are limitations in the selection of research objects and the scope of intervention; The lack of practical experience of social workers themselves. The above problems are expected to be solved by further research in the future.
