Most orphaned and disabled children are abandoned by their original families due to physical or intellectual disabilities, and such an experience also causes most orphaned and disabled children to exhibit psychological defects.Family foster care is a kind of rearing method that is widely recognized by the society and has positive significance for the healthy growth of orphans and disabled children. With the rapid development of the national economy and society, the welfare of children is also constantly deepening and reforming. In order to provide a better growth environment for orphans and disabled children, more and more orphans and disabled children are sent to foster family for rearing and placement. However, orphaned and disabled children who have lived in welfare homes for a long time cannot quickly adapt to the living environment outside the welfare homes, and orphaned and disabled children have their own psychological problems, which also affects the normal integration of orphaned and disabled children in foster family. The integration barrier between orphans and disabled children and foster family not only brings troubles to foster family, but also has a more serious consequence that orphans and disabled children may face a second foster care, which will cause greater damage to the psychology of orphans and disabled children.Integration is a two-way interaction process between orphaned and disabled children and foster family.During the period of foster integration, orphaned and disabled children are transferred from welfare homes to foster family. The integration of the two is related to their normal life.Good integration can also promote the healthy growth of orphaned and disabled children and help them obtain permanent resettlement.Through literature research, interviews and observation, this study investigated the behavior and performance of orphans and disabled children in the integration period of foster care.It found that it was difficult for orphans and disabled children to integrate with foster family, and analyzed the reasons for the difficult integration of orphans and disabled children with foster family. The problems in the integration of orphans and disabled children with foster family were mainly attributed to the orphans and disabled children themselves, foster family and the community environment. The author starts with the construction of social support for orphans and disabled children, and uses the case work method to repair the emotional support at the individual level, strengthen the parental support at the family level, build the community support at the social level and peer group support. With the growing support network, the integration of orphans and disabled children with foster family also develops to a deeper degree.Through the case analysis in this study,we can draw the following conclusions: First, foster parents’ support is the core key to promote the integration of orphans and disabled children and foster family;Secondly, from the perspective of social support theory,it has certain reference significance to improve the integration of orphans and disabled children and foster family;Thirdly, there is a greater space for social work to intervene in the integration of foster care services for orphans and disabled children. The integration of orphans and disabled children is a continuous and dynamic process. In order to ensure that the integration of orphans and disabled children with foster family will not be interrupted, the author proposes to strengthen the training of foster family, follow up the social support network of orphans and disabled children, focus on the family system, and improve the surrounding system to promote twoway integration.
