Application Of WeChat Public Platform In Secondary Vocational School Teaching

Abstract/Summary:
With the rapid development of vocational and technical education,secondary vocational schools have become one of the important positions for cultivating technical and operational talents in China.However,with the continuous progress of today’s society,the requirements and standards for the training of secondary vocational talents are also constantly improving.As far as the current secondary vocational and technical education is concerned,there are some problems,such as the students’ lack of enthusiasm in learning,the teaching mode of "one size fits all" can not meet the learning pace of all students,the teaching content is relatively lagging behind,and the lack of communication and interaction between teachers and students.With the development of science and technology and the popularization of intelligent terminal equipment,education informatization has become the inevitable trend of education reform and development.How to use the information technology to solve the problems existing in secondary vocational and technical education has become the key to improve the teaching level and quality in the digital age.In view of the existing problems,the mobile learning theory at home and abroad and the application status of We Chat public platform in teaching were deeply studied.At the same time,the feasibility of applying We Chat public platform in secondary vocational teaching and the needs of learners for mobile learning platform were analyzed through questionnaire survey.On this basis,the teaching system based on We Chat public platform is constructed with the theory of connectivism,constructivism,science of educational communication as the guiding ideology,aiming to provide students with a practical,convenient and interoperable mobile learning platform.During the whole construction process,not only the specific functions of the platform and the teaching process of using the mobile platform were designed at the theoretical level,but also a We Chat public platform named "Computer Basic Knowledge Bar" was developed.Through the selection and management of teaching resources and the design of the public platform for various modules,students as the main body of the platform can obtain learning resources according to their own requirements,create knowledge system,carry on the real-time communication with teachers at the same time,teachers as masters of the platform can supervise and manage the teaching.Mobile learning platform supports personalized,fragmented and diversified learning and can play an auxiliary and extended role in classroom teaching,which together constitute a teaching system based on We Chat public platform.This topic takes the course " Fundamentals of Computer Application " as an example,and uses the teaching mode of "classroom teaching + mobile learning" based on the "Computer Basic Knowledge Bar" We Chat public platform in the actual teaching.The practice results show that the application of We Chat public platform in the teaching of secondary vocational schools can not only improve students’ score,but also stimulate students’ enthusiasm for learning,improve the ability of secondary vocational students to study independently and explore consciously,which achieve the expected effect.It is proved that the mobile learning platform constructed and the education and teaching model designed in this paper can be used as a reference for future related research.
