| On September 21,2020,the State General Administration of Sport and the Ministry of Education jointly issued the Opinions on Deepening the Integration of Sports and Education to Promote the Healthy Development of Teenagers,which clearly stressed the need to strengthen the construction of high-level sports teams in colleges and universities,and further standardize the project layout,enrollment scale,entrance examination,assessment and evaluation,etc.The training of outstanding student athletes in colleges and universities is the necessary meaning and inevitable requirement of training outstanding sports talents in the new era and carrying out the new connotation of "integrating sports and education" in the new era.The student athletes trained by American colleges and universities are the "main force" of the United States in domestic and foreign competitions,and the sustainable development of competitive sports in American colleges and universities also depends on its relatively perfect management of student athletes.Although there are differences between China and the United States in sports management systems and mechanisms,the management of student-athletes in the United States is still worth our thinking and reference.Of course,in the process of learning,we should also examine rationally,and conduct localized practice and exploration,thinking about how to improve the management ability of student athletes in colleges and universities in China,and realize the management goal of cultivating outstanding sports talents in the new era.This research mainly adopts the grounded theory method,supplemented by the literature method,case study method and expert interview method.By using Nvivo12 plus software,58 concepts and 16 categories were obtained from the collected data of student-athlete management in 45 NCAA colleges and universities through open coding.Then,by applying the Canon model of "cause-and-effect condition--phenomenon-context--mediating condition--action-result" to carry on the spindle coding,and finally carry on the selective coding of factor clustering,the theory model of student-athlete management in American colleges and universities is constructed.Based on the theoretical model and the relevant collection and interview of the management of student athletes in American colleges and universities,this paper studies and analyzes the management of student athletes in American colleges and universities.Through the research,it is found that the student-athlete management in American colleges and universities has formed a relatively mature system,which is mainly manifested as :(1)the student-athlete management in American colleges and universities depends on its scientific and reasonable management organization;(2)American colleges and universities have carried out strict and meticulous management on student athletes in all aspects;(3)American colleges and universities realize effective management of student-athletes mainly through legal means;(4)American colleges and universities have established a complete resource guarantee system for student-athletes.At the same time,according to the current situation of student-athlete management in colleges and universities in China,the following suggestions are put forward :(1)to update the management concept and improve the management mechanism of competitive sports in colleges and universities;(2)To break the stereotype and establish a multi-dimensional comprehensive training path;(3)Pay attention to both French and German,improve the management rules and regulations of student athletes in colleges and universities;(4)Strengthen the construction of the coach team and improve the management resource guarantee system for college student-athletes. |
