| College Student Association is not only an important carrier of campus cultural activities, but also an important part of the second class of universities. It is a significant form for college students to cultivate wide range of interests, to expand knowledge in the field, and to rich inner world. The United States has the world’s largest economy. At the same time its higher education is very advanced, and it is even not excessively to say that their strength is ranked first in the world. Student Association of American Universities perform better in the type, quantity and activities significantly than that of other countries, and they also have more perfect community management system, which is made of a unique management and counseling model. American College Student Association organized construction started earlier, the characteristics of the diverse community organizations, widely affecting, management certification and approval, funding and so on is worth learning for our Universities. At the same time, referring to the successful experience of the US college student community has a very positive sense to strengthen the management of college student community in our country, especially to strengthen the role of student organizations in the construction of campus culture and prosperity, and promoting Quality Education and all-round development of students, etc.Then the author describes the development history of college student associations in the United States. This paper focuses on the management of college students associations in the United States, including the regulatory agencies,management systems, management modes, evaluation of management and management ideas. At the same time, United States college students association operation process were studied, including United States college students association establishing application, certification and approval, student organizations and active management funding and financial management, etc. The author do a detailed study on the community management of Yale University through case analysis, especially the skull elite associations. I believe that the American college student community management not only ensures the institutionalization and standardization, but also refl-ects the flexibility and autonomy. So it avoid intermittent and ups and downs because of people or things. At the same time, American management is meticulous and tho-ughtful, with systems and measures sound and appropriate services in place, and do well in high combination of standardized management with student autonomy,so that it is useful for our colleges. Therefore in last of article, community management conditions of two countries were compared, the characteristics and experience A-merica College Student Association Management are summarized and my sugges-tions to improve the community management were proposed. |
