Analysis On The Application Of Full Court Press Defensive Tactics

Full court pressing defensive tactics are commonly used tactics that play a decisive role in the direction of the game at the critical moment when the score of the basketball game is stalemate.In recent years,the development and progress of Chinese women’s basketball is obvious to all.Studying the application characteristics of full-court press tactics in the national women’s basketball team and other teams can more clearly analyze the problems and advantages of full-court press tactics,and discover core features such as the timing and use of tactics.By watching all the videos of the full-court press tactics in the15 international competitions that the Chinese women’s basketball team has participated in in the past three years,the application of the full-court press tactics has been analyzed and the following conclusions can be drawn:1 The Chinese women’s basketball team has used full-court pressing tactics frequently in international competitions in the past three years,which has played a very important role in the victory of the Chinese women’s basketball team.2 Full-court press tactics need to be implemented suddenly in an organized and planned manner.It is very effective to place and initiate a press when the opponent starts the line and the backcourt.3 Man-to-man use of full-court press tactics is higher than full-court regional press.After pressing the defense,the half-court defensive tactics are converted to the most man-to-man at half-court.4 In the application of the full-court defensive tactics,block the center and put the side line,the sideline clamps to hold the team member to steal and force him to pass,and other players change positions to block the pass.It is used to achieve the defensive effect of blocking the opponent’s advancement,compressing the opponent’s offensive time,disrupting the opponent’s offensive rhythm,and even gaining the ball.5 In the application of the full-court press tactics,the team’s coordination is very demanding,and players are required to attack boldly.Players need to have excellent personal defensive skills,ample physical reserves and strong defensive awareness.The women’s basketball game has a relatively slow pace and clear tactical execution,which has very high research value and reference significance for coaches and athletes at all levels in the amateur league and the youth sunshine league.
