Research On Tactics Application In The Last Minute Of NBA Playoffs From 2019 To 2020

Since the invention of basketball by James Naismith,an American Physical Education Teacher in 1891,after more than 100 years of continuous development and improvement of basketball rules,the world basketball level has reached an unprecedented height.Although there is still a certain gap in the competitive level of basketball between countries and leagues in the world,the gap between them has become smaller and smaller.In basketball matches of the same level and League,the two teams often fight to the last moment,and the final victory can only be decided at the moment when the final whistle blows.The situation at the last moment of basketball game is complex and changeable.Whether the coach can accurately judge and choose reasonable attack and defense tactics is the key to win.NBA Professional Basketball League is the highest level of professional basketball league in the world.The competition in NBA playoffs is more fierce.Therefore,the use of offensive and defensive tactics at the last moment of NBA playoffs is highly representative and can be used for reference.Therefore,this paper has certain theoretical and practical significance for the research on the characteristics and laws of the application of offensive and defensive tactics at the last moment of NBA playoffs.In this paper,from the 2019-2020 NBA playoffs,25 games with 6 points or less difference between the two teams in the last two minutes are selected as the research object.In this paper,literature,expert interview,video observation and other research methods,from three aspects to the NBA playoffs last-minute tactical use research,respectively as follows:(1)the NBA playoffs last-minute leading team and lagging team in the final moment of different stages of conventional offensive and defensive tactics comparative study.(2)This paper makes a comparative study on the unconventional tactics of the leading team and the lagging team in the last minute of NBA playoffs,such as foul,pause,throw out tactics.(3)This paper makes a case study of NBA playoff game in the last minute.The results show that:(1)there are differences in the average attack time and attack times between the lagging team and the leading team at the last time of the NBA playoffs,and the average attack time of the lagging team will decrease with the shortening of the remaining time of the game and the expansion of the point difference.The number of attacks will also increase.The leading team adopts the method of controlling the game rhythm,trying to consume the game time,creating good attack opportunities and ensuring the attack efficiency.(2)In terms of attack tactics and attack area,the backward team will choose individual attack and three-point ball as the remaining time of the game shortens and the difference expands.The leading team is based on team cooperation in attack,using the pass ball to cover and cooperate with each other to avoid fouls.The attack area is dominated by the inside line,and the use of breakthrough and strong play under the basket,even if they do not enter,there is a great chance that the other side will foul and get a free throw.(3)In the selection of defensive tactics,the backward team mainly adopts man to man marking in half court,improves the quality of defense,limits the opponent’s score,and chooses a large number of active foul tactics when the remaining time is shortened and the difference is large.The leading team is mainly man to man in half court,which can effectively delay the attack speed of the other side and prevent the other side’s main players from scoring easily.(4)In the use of unconventional tactics,the number of pauses and fouls used by the backward team is far more than that of the leading team.The laggard team usually asks for a pause after the opponent’s free throw hit the basket and attack score.On the one hand,it can strive for more attack time,on the other hand,it can carry out targeted attack tactics to disrupt the opponent’s rhythm.The leading team usually asks for a pause after the opponent’s offensive score in order to curb the opponent’s chasing momentum and arrange targeted defensive tactics.The backward team will take the initiative to foul at the last moment to get more attacking opportunities.In the aspect of throwing out of bounds,the backward team often chooses the box position to seek the attack opportunity through mutual protection and cooperation,while the leading team chooses the scattered position to avoid the opponent’s foul.(5)In the NBA playoffs,the important reason for the team to win is that in terms of attack,it mainly focuses on the inside attack,but the number of three-point shots is more than that of the other side,and the overall shooting percentage is much higher than that of the other side.In the aspect of defense,the back court defense marking and the front court lead defense,the back court marking are the main,and they are more active in rebounding.
