Research On The Embedding Of Farmer Cooperatives In Rural Communities From The Perspective Of Rural Revitalization

As an important decision-making deployment of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the rural revitalization strategy has important value and role in promoting the construction of a new socialist countryside.Farmer cooperatives,as a key part of multiple subjects,carry the goal of promoting rural revitalization,realizing rural development and promoting rural prosperity.In recent years,the number of farmer cooperatives in our country has maintained a good momentum of stable development and sustained growth under the guidance of policies,and has moved towards multiple fields,multiple levels and multiple content.However,the current literature mostly focuses on the governance and functional role of rural cooperatives,and there is less research on the creation and development of farmer cooperatives in rural communities.And this article attempts to take a straw cooperative in W City,Shaanxi Province as an example to explore the economic function,social service function and other functions of the farmer cooperative which starts and develops in the rural community.In response to the current inefficiency of economic development,imperfect governance system,imperfect talent structure,and lack of spiritual and cultural activities in rural areas,farmers’ cooperatives connect with grassroots governments and village committees and actively cooperate with rural communities to exert economic functions and promote implementation of the policy,participate in public affairs,strengthen cultural construction,and establish a new pattern of rural development.This article takes a straw cooperative in W City,Shaanxi Province as the research object.Based on reading and combing related documents,the local villagers and cooperative members are investigated through interviews and non-participatory observation methods to obtain research materials.This research aims to explore effective ways for farmer cooperatives to participate in rural revitalization,and to enrich relevant practices in the development of rural social work.First,the "social embeddedness theory" is combined with the development status of local rural communities and the "social embeddedness theory" is applied to the development practice of farmer cooperatives’ creation and development in rural communities,which mainly includes the economic dimension of actively generating income and seeking industrial development;the dimension of the system based on collaboration and mutual assistance and participation in public affairs;and the dimension of social relations of interaction behaviors with multiple activities.Secondly,through on-site investigations,it is found that there are undesirable phenomena in the process of farmer cooperatives’ creation and development in rural communities,and the problems arising from farmer cooperatives’ creation and development in rural communities and the causes behind the problems are summarized.Finally,based on the analysis of the reasons,combined with the relevant knowledge of rural social work,it proposes an optimized path for farmers’ cooperatives’ creation and development in rural communities and provides new ideas for promoting the development of rural revitalization strategies.
