| With the rapid development of the Internet and the aggravation of the aging society,more and more elderly people begin to access the Internet.Due to the sudden COVID-19 outbreak in2020,people across the country were locked in their homes.Some elderly people who did not use the Internet before but were used to offline shopping began to adapt to online shopping.Besides,short videos and live broadcasts related to the elderly in Douyin and Kuaishou also increased greatly.The convenience,ease of use and simplicity of production of short video make the elderly who have been in a state of "aphasia" for a long time flock into short video,forming a unique group characteristics.In this paper,in-depth interviews and participatory observation are used to analyze the use and satisfaction of short video apps for elderly groups,and summarize the media contact logic,use motivation and demand satisfaction of short video apps for elderly groups.On the basis of summarizing and summarizing,this paper further explores the socialized and idealized selves constructed by the elderly in front performance based on Goffman’s self-presentation theory,which brings about changes in social life and psychology.Finally,in view of the existing problems in the use of short video applications by the elderly,this paper explores new ideas for the elderly to actively participate in social interaction under the background of the Internet.The research shows that the application of short video enriches the leisure time of the elderly and gives them opportunities to present and express themselves actively.In the process of using short video applications,they meet their needs for entertainment,skills,interpersonal communication,economic realization and so on.As more and more elderly people access the Internet and become the dividends of short video platforms,we should think about how to maintain good interaction between the elderly group and short video applications,show their own style and realize their life value in the context of an active aging society. |
