| Colleges and universities should implement the important instructions of the Party Central Committee and the Ministry of Education on the establishment of moral education,Education on socialist core values for college students is an important entry point and breakthrough.The current stage of core socialist values education should pay more attention to guide students to learn it by brain and by heart,and apply it into the practice.In the face of the new environment,new objects and new media,the advantages of the traditional educational model are no longer evident.It is now necessary to transform thinking and perspectives,and to explore a way to adapt to new situations and solve new problems from the general trend of disciplinary integration.The narrative is a subtle and covert way to achieve the desired educational effect by incorporating the values and social norms advocated by the state and society through "storytelling".The methodology of narrative as a narrative in the field of literature has implications for values education.The introduction of narrative into core socialist values education for college students is a useful attempt to innovate teaching methods and enrich research methods.For the above reasons,this paper seeks to link the narrative approach with the socialist core values education of college students,find the fit between the two,and propose a path with a problem-oriented approach to provide reference for educational practice.This paper firstly focuses on the concepts related to socialist core values educat ion,narrative and narrative approach and the contingency and inevitability of the integra tion of narrative approach into socialist core values education for college students.This paper try to grasp the laws of narrative by summarizing our ancient narrative experience and the narrative styles and experiences of Mao Zedong,Deng Xiaoping and Xi Jinping.This paper try to build a firm foundation for practice by drawing on traditional Chinese narrative theory,Marxist theory and relevant Western theory.This paper try to respond to practical concerns by exploring the importance of socialist core values education for individuals,society and the nation.It is also believed that values education requires not only inculcation but also students’ own recognition and perception,and narratives are a necessary method for values education because they meet this requirement.Secondly,the basic questions of narrative approach applied to socialist core values education in universities include three aspects: what to narrate,how to narrate and who to narrate.And the main content of the core socialist values determines what to narrate.The choice of discursive narratives,pictorial narratives,practice narratives,and network narratives determines what to narrate.The administration,functionaries and front-line teachers in higher education,the students themselves and third-party narratives answer the question of who narrates.The framework for the application of the narrative approach to university education on core socialist values is structured through the tripartite efforts of family,school,and society,ensuring the truthfulness,credibility and vividness of the story,ensuring the political and academic rationality of the theory,and to exchange sincerity for truth.Then,based on the questionnaire survey,the effect achieved by the use of narrative approach in the education of socialist core values of college students was found,including the fact that most college students have a clearer understanding of the basic content of socialist core values.And they are more agreeable to the conventional education method of socialist core values,more agreeable to the living and daily education of socialist core values,and more clear about the narrative way of socialist core values education.However,some problems have been found which affect the effectiveness of narrative using in values education,including the single narrative style,the content being out of touch with reality,the low enthusiasm of college students to participate in values narrative education,and some students’ one-sided understanding of narrative use in values education.The reasons for these problems are analyzed in terms of narrative subject,narrative object,narrative content,narrative style,and narrative environment.Finally,based on the analysis of the reasons for the problems of using narrative approach in the education of socialist core values for college students,a feasible path is proposed for the use of narrative approach in values education to be more daily,regular and usual from five aspects,including narrative subject,narrative object,narrative carrier,narrative method and narrative environment. |
