Research On The Path Of Integrating The Yan’an Spirit Into The Ideological And Political Education Of Private College Students In Shaanxi Province

The Yan’an Spirit is a precious spiritual wealth formed by the Communist Party of China in the practice of the Chinese revolution,and provides important intellectual support for the Chinese revolution and construction.It fully demonstrates the leadership ability of the CPC,the scientific nature of the organization construction,and the rigor of the system implementation,and is regarded as the treasure of the CPC.The rich scientific connotation contained in Yan’an plays an important spiritual guiding role in strengthening the ideological and political education of college students.Integrating Yan’an Spirit into the ideological and political education of college students can strengthen the ideal faith of college students,helping the students in Shaanxi private college develop the scientific spirit of seeking truth from facts,helping Shaanxi private college students set up the purpose of serving the people wholeheartedly,which can nourish the spirit of college students’ hard work.There are a lot of private colleges and universities in Shaanxi province,which urgently need us integrate Yan’an Spirit into college students’ ideological and political education activities.In this paper,the researcher selects 6 representative private colleges and universities as the research object,and systematically and comprehensively analyzes the ideological and political education status and existing problems through the way of questionnaire and in-depth interview.The researcher finds that the 800 investigated private college students have a certain understanding of the Yan’an Spirit,and they generally think it important for the ideological and political promotion of contemporary college students,and think that among the Yan’an spirit,the entrepreneurial spirit of self-reliance and hard struggle is the spirit that we need most.They also think the fundamental position of serving the people wholeheartedly and the ideological line of emancipating the mind,truth also plays a very important role.Learning the Yan’an Spirit is very important for cultivating and strengthening the ideals and beliefs of college students,helping realize the "Chinese Dream",identifying and practicing the core socialist values.On the spreading means of Yan’an Spirit,students generally put forward the private colleges and universities pay more attention to the Yan’an Spirit education mode,but students’ participation and involvement is very low,and students’ practical teaching activities are very rare and they know Yan’an Spirit mainly through teaching materials or the way of classroom ideological and political courses and school campus carries out less related activities about Yan’an Spirit.At present,there exist some problems of integrating the Yan’an Spirit into ideological and political education in Shaanxi private colleges and universities.Firstly,due attention is not paid to Yan’an Spirit in classroom teaching,and the Yan’an Spirit is not well penetrated in the teaching content and teaching process,and the teaching method is also single;secondly,campus culture focuses on entertainment and participation,aiming to improve students’ comprehensive ability;thirdly,social practical activities mainly focus on some investigation and analysis about practical problems,historical resource,especially the inheritance and development of Yan’an Spirit is seldom considered.Fourthly,ideological and political elements is not completely integrated into some professional courses.The main reasons for the above problems are as following: private colleges or universities do not pay enough attention to the ideological and political education,lack organic integration system and guarantee mechanism,lack a professional and efficient ideological and political education team,lack training for teachers about Yan’an spirit and other knowledge,lack effective mobilization and guidance management for students,and lack innovation of integration methods and manne.In view of the existing problems and causes,this paper gives the practical path for Shaanxi private colleges or universities to integrate Yan’an Spirit into the ideological and political education of college students,organically combines Yan’an spirit education with ideological and political theory into classroom teaching,use modern teaching means,innovate education and teaching methods,and fully motivate students’.enthusiasm and participation.In the construction of campus culture,the researcher selects the theme which can carry forward and spread the Yan’an spirit consciously,and adopt the way of inviting historical witnesses and deliver some lectures,songs,dances,poetry recitations,sitcoms,plays,sketches and other popular ways to present the Yan’an spirit,so that students can improve their ideological realm and practical ability imperceptibly.In the practical activities,students can experience the great struggle of the party in Yan’an and the spiritual strength of Yan’an spirit,through on-the-spot investigation and other ways,and expand the effect of practical interaction through peer sharing.Based on the ideological and political curriculum,the researcher explores the specific path of the full integration and the whole process integration of Yan’an spirit.
