| Focusing on inheriting and promoting traditional Chinese culture,General Secretary Xi Jinping has issued a series of important statements,stressing that the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation requires the development and prosperity of Chinese culture.In the spirit of the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and General Secretary Xi Jinping’s speech,The Ministry of Education issued the notice on improving the guidelines for the education of excellent traditional Chinese culture in 2014,which clearly stated that strengthening the education of traditional Chinese culture is of great and far-reaching historical significance for young students.Hong Kong is an integral part of China.It has been 22 years since Hong Kong’s return to the motherland.For a variety of reasons,there has been a series of riots in HK recently,especially the participation of teenagers.The perplexity of cultural identity is an important realistic problem.How can two completely different systems exist in the same country and be stable for a long time?This study argues that it is particularly urgent to strengthen the identity education of Chinese traditional culture among the youth in Hong Kong.Firstly,this study elaborated the source and background of the topic and the significance and application value of the research.Secondly,this study defined the core concept of cultural identity and related concepts of culture,Chinese traditional culture and national identity.Then,the general situation of domestic and international research was summarized and the theoretical basis was elaborated in detail.On this basis,this study used questionnaire investigation and interview to understand the status quo of HK primary school students’ identification with Chinese traditional culture and grasp their basic attitude and cognitive level.Finally,this study analyzed the influencing factors and proposed relevant strategies and effective ways to promote the identification of Chinese traditional culture among primary school students in Hong Kong.After data analysis,induction and extraction,this study found that Grade 4-6 student of Q primary school in Hong Kong had deficiencies in cognition,attitude and access,as well as lack of teachers,communication power and communication with the mainland and other factors.This study puts forward relevant countermeasures to strengthen the education of Chinese traditional culture identity.The first one is to reform the curriculum,which means to strengthen the education of history and national conditions.The second is to carry out relevant social activities and organize special lectures and visits.The third is to upgrade teachers,to build a cultural base to improve the level of teachers in Hong Kong.Fourth,We should promote the mother tongue.We can use the power of the mass media to promote Putonghua.Fifth,We should carry out and implement the state policy documents in a penetrating way. |
