With the development of Internet technology,online games have become one of the main entertainment and dating methods of teenagers today,and the impact of video games on youth behavior is a noteworthy concern.Pro-social behavior,as an important way of adapting to social and interpersonal communication in youth growth,plays an important role in the development of individuals.Previous research on video games has mainly focused on violent video games,online game addiction,focusing on the negative effects of video games.However,the game market now not only contains violent content types and also contains a lot of warm,healing pro-social content games,but there is relatively few research on such games.At the same time,the general learning model(GLM)theory states that video games as a scenario variable can interact with individual traits and thus affect the relevant behavior of individuals.Therefore,based on this theory,the questionnaire method will distribute a questionnaire to a S high school and a junior high school in W,interpersonal response questionnaire,a brief questionnaire of Chinese personality questionnaire,including 422 junior high school students and 355 high school students.We plan to explore the impact of pro-social video games on the pro-social behavior of such as teenagers,the intermediary role of empathic ability in this relationship and the regulating role of personality in this relationship,and provide corresponding suggestions to help improve the level of pro-social behavior of teenagers.The data results are also analyzed and processed.To to the following conclusions:(1)There is a significant positive correlation between pro-social video game contact and individual empathy ability and pro-social behavior,that is,the higher the level of pro-social video game is,the more pro-social behavior will be made;(2)Affective ability plays a part intermediary role in the relationship between pro-social video game contact and adolescent pro-social behavior;(3)The human dimension in Big Five plays a regulating role in the relationship between prosocial video game contact and adolescents’ prosocial behavior,that is,human nature regulates the direct and posterior path of prosocial video game-symentimental-social behavior;(4)The preciseness dimension of Big Five plays a role in regulating the relationship between pro-social video game contact and the influence of pro-social behavior of adolescents,that is,preciseness regulates pro-social video.
