| With the development of economy and society and the increase of farmers’ mobility,the traditional relatively closed village structure gradually disintegrated,many modern villages have been transformed into ‘Semi-acquaintance societies’.The study chooses the perspective of‘Interpersonal communication’ to cut into rural communication,focusing on ‘New media’,‘Countryside’,and ‘Communication’,attempts to describe the multi-dimensional influence of new media on rural interpersonal communication,and with the popularization of new media technology with smartphone as the terminal,the interactive space,the way of communication and the structure of interpersonal communication of the villagers also change.Based on a case study of a village in the southeast of Henan,the paper further examines the interpersonal relationship of new media embedded in the rural society,for the central rural social interaction as a whole to provide a ‘deep description’ of the portrait.In addition to the introduction,this paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the sample selection and data acquisition.The second part is the current situation of rural interpersonal communication under the influence of new media.The third part is the dissolution of the traditional interpersonal relationship in the countryside by the new media,.The fourth part is the mending and mending of the rural interpersonal relationship by the new media,such as the online transfer of acquaintance,the online extension of the semi-acquaintance relationship,the online stranger communication brought by the new media.The fifth part is the shaping of rural interpersonal relationship by new media,which is embodied in the withdrawal of the traditional ruling authority,the disintegration of the power of elders by the Internet,and the challenge of the power of indoctrination in the parent-child relationship.Based on the methods of in-depth interview and questionnaire,this paper draws the following conclusions: First,as a modern variable,new media promotes the transformation of rural interpersonal communication from three dimensions.Second,to some extent,the new media has caused the dissolution and separation of the village interpersonal relationship,the villagers can judge the state of the relationship,while maintaining the existing relationship,they can also establish a new relationship,or withdraw from a certain relationship.Third,the new media has also provided the possibility for the different attribute village interpersonal relations to heal and the reconstruction.Based on the two-level relationship structure of kin and acquaintance,the three-level communication structure of kin,acquaintance and semi-acquaintance can be generalized in today’s C village. |
