With the development of transportation and communication technology, and as well as the strengthening of gradual international and regional cooperation, the dependency for international and interpersonal communications has been gradually enhanced, communications are getting more and more frequent, and only those who have strong spirits of cooperation and those who have the consciousness and ability of good communication are drawing more and more attention and they have ability to meet the needs of the society. As the backbone of the 21st century, an era of world knowledge and economy, it is necessary for middle school students to have good interpersonal skills so that they could keep up with the pace of the development and change of the times. Meanwhile, for middle school students themselves, the ability of dealing with interpersonal relationships is an important factor of their quality. Interpersonal communication is playing an important role in influencing middle school students’ physical and mental health, academic record, quality of life and social skills. Therefore, good interpersonal communication is of great significance to the upgrade of middle school students’own quality and the healthy development of society. But at present, the situation of middle school students’interpersonal communication is not optimistic in China and there exists many problems in their interpersonal communication. The causes come from many aspects, such as students’themselves, schools, families, society, and the shock of the development of network society to the traditional interpersonal communication in particular. The shock has a significant impact on middle school students’thoughts and their behaviors and it makes them confused about interpersonal communication. Therefore, paying more attention to middle school students’ interpersonal communication and strengthening the education of their interpersonal communication in such a social environment are the needs of students’ comprehensive development and the demands of society and time as well.Based on the research consideration of "description of status quo and suggestions for countermeasures", this paper makes a full understanding of the current situation of middle school students’ interpersonal communication and the purpose of this paper is to solve the problems of middle school students’interpersonal communication and expects that it will be of some help to improve the current status of middle school students’ interpersonal communication and the quality of education of it. The paper consists of the following five chapters:The first is the Introduction, mainly including the putting forward of problems, literature review, research design, and the definition of concepts. Then, the First chapter expounds the characteristics of present social interpersonal communication, and with the result of interview and questionnaire survey, it also gives a comprehensive and in-depth analysis of the present situation of current middle school students’ interpersonal communication. Based on the analysis of the First chapter, the Second chapter further explores the real existing problems, mainly are the immaturity of cognition in interpersonal communication, lack of effective communication skills and methods, lack of the ability of team cooperation, the inharmonious relationship between teachers and students, and the deviation of interpersonal communication both online and offline as well. The Third chapter analyzes the causes of the existing problems from five aspects, they are students’ themselves, social environment, schools, teachers and families. Lastly, the Fourth Chapter puts forward the targeted suggestions for solving the problems, that is, in order to improve the present situation of middle school students’ interpersonal communication, apart from the strengthening the guide to students themselves, the more important factors are the reform of school education system, the education idea of teachers’, the innovation of teaching methods, and the full cooperation both from families and society.
