Research On The Seating Arrangements Of "Power Paddler" And Their Effects On Different Events Of 22-Man Standard Dragon Boat Racing

The dragon boat race,which has been inherited for more than 2000 years,has evolved from a traditional Chinese folk event into an competition.With growing popularity of Dragon Boat Race around the world,the competition level and professionalization of are getting higher and higher.By reviewing literature,taking interview and experiments,this paper studied the distribution pattern of dynamic rowers and the effect of the distribution in different competition of 22-man standard dragon boat race,The object of this paper is,on the one side,to improve the performance in special competition through the optimized combination of athletes’ seats,thus make dragon boat race a better sector sport,On the other side,this paper also aimed to summarize,the pattern of dynamic rowers’ distribution,in order to provide reference,for future dragon boat training and competition.This paper chosen two typical Dragon Boat team in China,which are school team of Huazhong university of science and technology and Shunde dragon boat club.By4-mouth in-team experiments 450 groups of available data were collected Through the analysis of the experimental data by SPSS,it shows that the best position of the power rower is different in different events for different levels of dragon boat team.Through a large number of experiments,the following conclusions are drawn as follow.For college students team,in the 22-man standard 100 m,200 m and 500 m Dragon Boat straight race,the best special performance are obtained when the four groups of dynamic rowers sit in the fourth,fifth,sixth and seventh row;For high-level professional team,in the 22-man standard 100 m and 200 m Dragon Boat straight race,the best special performance are obtained when four groups of dynamic rowers sit in the fifth,sixth,seventh and eighth row,and in 500 m race,the best performance showed when the power rowers in the fourth row,the fifth row,the sixth row and the seventh row.The results also showed that,for both college team and high-level professional team,the best positions of the power type rowers in the starting stage is row 5,6,7 and 8,and row 4,5,6 and 7 in the middle stage.In order to implement the strategy of taking the lead in sailing,the power type rowers should be arranged in row 5,6,7 and 8.The best position of the power type rowers in the middle stage is row 4,5,6 and 7 row.
