Study On Family Structure,Functional Cognition And Homestead Withdrawal Willingness

The rapid development of industrialization and urbanization continues to impact traditional rural areas.my country’s rural areas are undergoing extensive and profound historical changes.The rural social form has changed from closed to open,and the relationship between urban and rural areas has changed from segmentation to integration.In this era,a large number of rural populations are shifting to cities and nonagriculturalization of the population has occurred,and the trend of idle land has been rising,resulting in the phenomenon of "hollow villages" and "depopulation".At the same time,the rural population transferred to cities has a great demand for urban construction land.The red line indicator of 1.8 billion acres of arable land requires that urban and rural construction land cannot be expanded indefinitely,and it is imperative to improve the efficiency of homestead resource utilization.Improving the utilization efficiency of homesteads needs to manifest the value of homesteads,and the value of homesteads needs to be reflected through the functional cognition attached to it.The main line of deepening rural reform under the new situation is still to handle the relationship between farmers and land.The reform of rural contracted land and collective construction land has a relatively well-formed system,and the reform of the homestead system is still the difficulty and focus of reform.From the perspective of rural family structure and functional cognition,this paper uses the theory of perceived value to construct and analyze the mechanism between the characteristics of the head of the household,the characteristics of the family and the withdrawal of the homestead in the family structure.Using behavioral decision-making theory,constructing the mechanism between functional cognition and homestead withdrawal,and combining the survey data of Yuncheng,Changzhi,and Jinzhong in Shanxi Province,using multiple logistic regression analysis methods to explore how family structure and functional cognition affect the willingness to withdraw from homesteads,this paper draws the following conclusions:(1)The higher the education level of the head of the household,the more willing to withdraw from the homestead.The heads of households with a high level of education are more capable of obtaining and discriminating information,and their own resource endowment determines their diversification of income channels,and they are aware of the acceptance of the withdrawal policy of homesteads.The thinking is higher than others,the degree of risk appetite is high,and the expected return of exiting the homestead is greater than the risk of exiting the homestead.(2)The higher the degree of non-agriculturalization of the head of the household,the less willing to withdraw from the homestead.The income created by the smallholder economy can no longer make up for the cost of family farming.The scale of agricultural production can maximize the benefits,and occupational differentiation should be the focus of formulating the exit compensation model.(3)The more family labor,the more willing to withdraw from the homestead.Families with more labor have strong bargaining power,and the income created by labor is stable.The entire family does not have to avoid excessive economic risks,and the expected return of exit is higher than the retention cost.The supply of labor is greater than the demand,and the ability to allocate labor resources to achieve diversification of family income.Withdrawing from the homestead can realize the reallocation of family human resources at the same time.(4)The larger the proportion of children raised by the family,the more willing to withdraw from the homestead.Raising children requires families to pay a fixed cost,and education is a long-term process.High-quality educational resources attract a large number of families with children to enter the city and leave homes idle.Not only will it reduce the efficiency of resource allocation,it will also increase the hidden costs of the family,and the economic compensation after withdrawal will be in line with the expected income of the family.(5)Families are willing to use the homestead to obtain operating income,the more willing they are to withdraw from the homestead.The manifestation of the functions of homestead assets makes families begin to change their perceptions of the functions of homesteads.In essence,families that are willing to use homestead rental,tourism,farmhouse and other forms to obtain operating income agree with the asset function attached to the homestead,and are willing to use the homestead to gain income due to the inherent profit demand,but the withdrawal of the legally protected homestead becomes willing First choice for families who use homesteads to gain income.(6)Those who believe that the homestead can be freely disposed of,sold or mortgaged,the more willing to withdraw from the homestead.The welfare nature of homesteads in my country has led to the inability of homesteads to fully realize the value of real estate.At the same time,the reform of my country’s homestead property rights system and actual policies have Hysteresis,so different families have different perceptions of the property rights of homesteads,resulting in different functions for homesteads.The separation of the three rights of homesteads has not formed a complete legal provision,and there is a situation in which the perceptions and functions are inconsistent,which manifests the homestead.The asset value of the base still needs to accelerate the improvement of the homestead property right system.This article explores the internal mechanism between family structure,functional cognition and homestead withdrawal,and makes recommendations based on the empirical results.Attempts to promote the withdrawal of homesteads have made further progress,ease the demand for urban and rural construction land,improve the utilization efficiency of homestead resources,and innovate the reform of the homestead system.
