| The Executive Committee of the Olympic Games held an executive committee meeting at its headquarters in Lausanne,Switzerland,on June 10,2017.Competition events were confirmed for the 2020 Tokyo Games.According to the 2020 Olympic Agenda,an total of nine events will be contained in it,including table tennis,which officially involves the first mixed doubles gold medal in the history of the Olympics.Mixed doubles has a lot of contingency and uncertainty,compared to both team and single events,which are easier to compete for medals.By doing so,The Executive Committee makes other Asian countries and European powers more actively participate in the medal competition,especially the outstanding athletes represented by Japan.with left and right hands as the combination,they have been active in the international mixed doubles field in recent years.China ’s table tennis team should also pay attention to the mixed doubles events,carefully analyze the competition system,formulate clear response plans according to the application characteristics of the doubles skills and tactics of foreign outstanding players,cultivate excellent all-around players,and strengthen each individual technical training,which is the main goal and direction of China’ s table tennis team before the Olympic Games.Among China’s table tennis players,the two players who stand out in mixed doubles are Xu Xin and Liu Shiwen.Therefore,this paper analyzes the strategy adopted in their competition.By reading a lot of relevant literature and researches,using new research methods,and taking advantage of the "Table Tennis" tactical analysis software designed by Chinese table tennis team research team to obtain data,this essay has taken the tactical characteristics of Xu Xin/ Liu Shiwen as the research object and used the three-paragraph method combined with eight rounds of serving and receiving.Thus,the technical and tactical analysis ofcharacteristics of Xu Xin/Liu Shiwen in a total of 27 international mixed doubles competitions from 2019 to2020 are deeply analyzed.And the results are as followed:1.The probability for the team of Xu Xin/ Liu Shiwen to get high scores in the serving segment by getting scores directly is high.In the backhand connection stage of the third board,the loss rate of the forehand is relatively high,while sideways technology and the flicking technique play well in the third board.Due to the high error rate of the third plate of Xu Xin / Liu Shiwen,the training of the forehand and backhand in the third board in the usual time should be strengthen,especially when they face wide-angle balls from the opposing athletes to improve the defensive ability of the forehand and backhand.2.The scoring probability of Xu Xin/ Liu Shiwen in receiving to grab scores is medium.By actively combining attacking and controlling transition,they take advantage of the high-frequency utilization of short or long serving from their competitors,thus earning high scores for themselves.However,the overall scoring rate is low.In the fourth board,the sideways technology and the flicking technique give them better opportunities to grab high scores.While other techniques have high utilization rate,the scoring rate is lower.The combination of Xu Xin/ Liu Shiwen should enhance the grab efficiency in the grabbing section,enhance the control on landing point and rotation,and create more scoring opportunities in the receiving service and the fourth board.3.Xu Xin/ Liu Shiwen’s probability in receiving to grab scores is the lowest,the overall score rate is only 47.9%.The common techniques are forehand,backhand and side.The scoring rate of the critical ball holding segment is 45.6%,which almost holds the line of the overall data,but still low.Among the key points,the forehand has the highest utilization rate,while utilization rate of backhand is the lowest.When they turn to the side position,the rate of losing scores is the highest,and the forehand lowest.Xu Xin / Liu Shiwen combination should enhance the defensive hitting of the matching backhand,enhance the training of pace,try to avoid the hasty shot caused by the return ball drop point,and increase the hit rate.4.Among the key points,the forehand has the highest utilization rate,while the backhand utilization rate is the lowest.The side had the highest,and the forehand.Xu Xin / Liu Shiwen combination should enhance the defensive hitting of the matching backhand,enhance the pace of training,try to avoid the hasty shot caused by the return ball drop point,and increase the stage rate.Xu Xin often lose points in the in the serving segment when she is suppose to serve and her opponent receive,while Liu Shiwen is more likely to be locked in a stalemate during her period.Xu Xin/ Liu Shiwen should enhance the diversity of the technology of the third board.More specifically,Xu Xin should enhance the attack technology of the third board while Liu Shiwen should enhance the defense technology of the third board.5.Of four receiving rounds in Xu Xin/ Liu Shiwen’s eight serving-and-picking rounds,the highest scoring rate was for the round in which Liu Shiwen received the ball from the competing woman athlete,with a scoring rate of 60.7%;The lowest scoring rate was in Xu Xin’s round when the competing woman athletes serves.The scoring rate was 52.7%.At the disadvantaged serving and receiving rounds of Xu Xin/ Liu Shiwen combination,they usually lose points in receiving.At the advantaged serving and receiving rounds,they are more likely to be locked in a stalemate.Xu Xin/ Liu Shiwen should enhance the offensive nature while receiving the serve,especially the scoring rate and hit rate for the forehand and backhand.6.Xu Xin/ Liu Shiwen combination should further enhance the tacit understanding,and build their personal advantages on the tacit understanding so as to complement each other’s disadvantages. |
