| Objective: With the continuous development of basketball,the proportion of threepoint ball in basketball matches has increased,and the development of athletes’ training level and competitive level has been gradually improved.The high-efficiency and highpoint effect of three-point ball has been gradually reflected in matches,and three-point ball often becomes the key factor to win matches.According to relevant literature,one of the most significant functions of the three-point shot lies in the crucial period of the match,in which the team that is behind but with a very small score takes advantage of the three-point shot to overcome the score,weaken the morale of the opponent,and realize the reversal in certain cases.However,such odds are rare after all.Only the strong team with strong psychological quality and rich technical and tactical experience is more likely to achieve such a reverse attack.All techniques and tactics are ultimately used to win the game,threepoint shooting is not necessarily only used in the final decisive period of the game,the start of the game should be based on the tactical cooperation to strengthen the three-point shooting,only to pay attention to the three-point shooting,the team in the game can have enough chance to win.Therefore,through the investigation and study of the winning factors of modern basketball games,the characteristics of the three-point shot and the factors affecting the use of the three-point shot,combined with the actual case of the 2019-2020 season CBA championship Guangdong team’s use of the three-point shot was analyzed,and the three points of the Guangdong team were summarized.The characteristics and rules of the use of the ball can provide reference for teaching and training,put forward useful opinions on the development of basketball in our country,and have a certain reference for the training and teaching of basketball players at all levels.Methods: This study systematically analyzed the application of the three-point shot of Guangdong Team in the 2019-2020 CBA playoffs by using the methods of literature,video observation,questionnaire survey,mathematical statistics and logical analysis,combined with the winning factors of modern basketball matches,the application characteristics of the three-point shot and the factors affecting the application effect of the three-point shot.And through the official data and the game video playback repeatedly,to different catching way,different position players,different three-point shooting area,different defensive intensity and different attack stage of guangdong team’s three-point ball use effect was analyzed.Results:（1）The Guangdong team had the highest three-point hit rate in the first quarter,and the hit rate rebounded in the second half,but the overall hit rate still showed a gradual downward trend.（2）Under different ways of catching the ball,the Guangdong team used the most threepointers in the field,and the highest percentage of three-pointers in the field of receiving and making emergency stops.（3）Among the three-point shots made by players in different positions,the Guangdong team’s forward players performed more prominently on three-point shots,while the overall performance of the defenders was relatively poor.（4）The Guangdong team has the most three-pointers in District 3 and the highest threepoint shooting rate in District 5.（5）Under different defensive intensities,the Guangdong team made the most threepoint shots in the case of weak interference,and the highest hit rate in the case of no interference.（6）The Guangdong team’s three-pointer is used more in the offensive stage of the position.The use of the three-pointer is mainly concentrated on the rapid transfer of the outside ball and the sudden distribution of the teammates.Conclusion:（1）The three-point shot is one of the main ways for the Guangdong team to attack and score.Most of the players in the Guangdong team can make long three-point shots,and the shooting points are widely distributed.（2）The striker is the main role of the Guangdong team in the use of three-pointers,and Du Runwang and Wang Xinkai have made outstanding contributions.Players have better technical stability when receiving and passing the ball and making emergency stops.And when the team is behind or at a critical moment,the Guangdong coach will arrange for three-point shooters to rotate in an attempt to turn the situation around.（3）The bottom corner area the left（Areas 5）is the best scoring position for the Guangdong team’s three-point shooting technique and tactics.The 45° corner area on both sides has a high number of shots but an unsatisfactory hit rate.The Guangdong team chooses the three-point shooting area.Still needs improvement.（4）The anti-interference ability of Guangdong team players in the face of highintensity defense is average,and the stability of three-point shooting is not high.（5）The positional attack is the main attack method of the Guangdong team’s threepoint shot.It mainly uses the whole team to actively carry out targeted passing on the periphery,and use sudden distribution to create shooting opportunities for teammates.The attack of the three-point shot mainly starts from the outside line,the usage rate of the inside line is low,and there is less coordination between
