Study On The Influence Of Off-ball Screen On Positional Attack Of The National Top Four Men’s Basketball Team In The 23rd CUBA First-level League

Positional attack is the main body of basketball match,the success rate of positional attack reflects the offensive strength and tactical attainment of a team.The off-ball screen is one of the important cooperation in basketball matches and an indispensable offensive means under the development trend of basketball today.CUBA is the highest level of college basketball competition in China,but many teams have the problem of low success rate of positional attack and can’t create reasonable attack opportunity,and some college players do not have a clear understanding of the off-ball screen coordination function,and are not skilled in using it.Therefore,this paper hopes to provide theoretical and data support for improving the success rate of positional attack and improving the rationality of positional attack by studying the influence of off-ball screen cooperation on positional attack in college men’s basketball matches,helping college players improve their cognition and practice.This paper analyzes the positional attack features and off-ball screen using features in the face of man-to-man defense and zone defense of the top four teams on the 23 rd of CUBA: Tsinghua University,Peking university,Xiamen University and Beijing University of Chemical Technology in Elite Eight by using literature review method,questionnaire method,video observation method,and mathematical method.The following conclusions are drawn from the study:（1）College men’s basketball match attack pace is faster,but positional attack is still the main body of attack.In man-to-man and joint defense of the national top four teams,the percentage of off-ball screen as offensive finishing method is less than 10%on average,but the success rate is higher than other finishing methods.（2）When the national top four men’s basketball teams attack man-to-man defense,using off-ball screen cooperation can improve the success rate of positional attack,but the effect is not obvious in joint defense.The use of balanced and varied off-ball screens with tactical intentions helps to strengthen the rationality and crypticity of the attack.（3）When the national top four men’s basketball teams attack man-to-man defense,the off-ball screen combination between two people is more favorable than the fixed cooperation of many people.The effecet of off-ball screen coordination between outside players to inside players is poor.The off-ball screen mix in the restricted zone is more advantageous than the mid-range zone.Players’ use of "outside bounce-cut","cut-outside bounce" and "roll cut" by the covered man is highly beneficial to positional attack,but the frequency of use is low.When attacking the joint defense,the inside player’s off-ball positioning screen is more advantageous.Middle distance area and low limit area are the main coordination area.（4）College men’s players have problems such as improper position of screen,no physical contact with defenders,and not moving in time after screen for the screen man.The covered person has the problems of revealing the intention of moving in advance,lacking the reverse escape,and not being able to give immediate attack threat quickly.The ball holder does not pay attention to the second chance and lacks passing skills.These actions will lead to the unreasonable position attack and failure.
