An Empirical Study On The Cultivation Of College Students’ Green Consumption Concept In The New Era

Green consumption is an important content of Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization and the main way to practice Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization.Green consumption is the integration of the concept of ecological civilization into the whole process and aspects of consumption,and is the ecologization of traditional consumption.As an important participant and builder in the construction of ecological civilization in the new era,college students establish green consumption concept helps to form a green lifestyle,improve ecological civilization literacy and participate in the construction of ecological civilization.The cultivation of green consumption concept among college students in the new era should be based on scientific and comprehensive understanding of their current situation of consumption concept and consumption behavior.The Questionnaire on Green Consumption Knowledge and Behavior of College Students was developed on the basis of relevant studies at home and abroad,which mainly includes five aspects of college students’ green consumption awareness,consciousness,green purchase behavior,green use behavior and green disposal behavior,with a total of 35 questions.In the first stage,a stratified sampling method was adopted,and 9 universities of different regions and categories were selected based on 985 project universities,211 project universities and ordinary undergraduate colleges and universities as the sample frame;in the second stage,a whole group sampling or simple random sampling method was adopted in the 9 universities,and 9 majors were selected,covering 4 grades of university 1500 students.The survey results show that due to the poor synergy of education subjects,the green consumption concept of contemporary college students has a single source of information,lack of deep knowledge and contradiction between knowledge and action.The fundamental and long-term plan for the construction of ecological civilization is to nurture people’s hearts and cultivate a new generation with an ecological civilization.Colleges and universities are the main place to promote ecological civilization,and higher education should give full play to the basic,pioneering and overall role of education.The role of higher education in the new era of green consumerism among college students is reflected in a series of changes in education philosophy,teaching objectives,teaching contents and teaching methods,and the construction of a green consumer education system that meets the requirements of the times.In the reform and innovation of the teaching system,green consumption should be fully integrated and reflected in the ideological and political theory courses as well as effectively integrated in the professional courses and general education courses.In the development of campus culture,the cultivation environment of green consumption should be constructed systematically from the green university at the level of physical culture and the high-quality projects at the level of spiritual culture.In the improvement of university management system,the institutional system related to the cultivation and practice of green consumption should be created scientifically in the new era,so as to realize the effective guidance,prediction and evaluation of green consumption behavior of college students.
