Research On Fixed Assets Management In Medical Universities ——A Case Study Of A College In Shanghai

The fixed assets of medical universities are the basic material conditions for universities to ensure the daily work such as teaching,scientific research,medical treatment and management.It is also one of the important indicators to measure the quality of teaching and scientific research in medical universities.With the national demand for higher medical talents increasing year by year and the increasing investment in higher medical education,the scale of fixed assets in medical universities is also increasing year by year,and the sources of assets are more diversified.Accordingly,the requirements for the management of fixed assets are higher and higher.Through a large number of literature reading and sorting,this paper expounds the research status of fixed assets management in medical universities at home and abroad,and understands that there are many problems in the management of fixed assets in some medical universities in China,such as the loss of fixed assets,low utilization rate of equipment,unbalanced allocation of equipment in various departments and so on.In view of such problems,it is urgent to effectively improve the management level of fixed assets to promote the preservation and appreciation of fixed assets in medical universities.By putting forward the concept of fixed asset management in medical universities,and relying on the supervision model in asset life cycle management theory and principal-agent theory,this paper takes the fixed asset management of College A,a Medical University in Shanghai,as the research object,and makes an empirical study in combination with the actual situation of College A.This paper summarizes the problems existing in the process of fixed assets management in College A,such as lack of connection between management and budget,non-standard process,slow informatization progress,waste of resources in disposal and renewal,and analyzes the causes of the problems.At the same time,drawing on the advanced experience of fixed assets management in medical universities at home and abroad,combined with the common problems existing in other medical universities,this paper puts forward a series of targeted measures,such as improving the management system,optimizing the management system,building professional teams,promoting the construction of information platform and improving the efficiency of supervision provide a certain theoretical and practical reference for the optimization of fixed assets management in medical universities in China.According to the literature statistics,at present,there are few relevant studies on medical universities with such sub disciplines.This study may put forward some new opinions and suggestions from this perspective,so as to improve the research in some related fields.At the same time,this paper can also provide a more detailed comparative idea for the management experience of general universities to focus on the management of professional universities with strong professionalism.
