| Dribbling past an opponent is one of the important offensive means.The rational use of dribbling past an opponent in football matches is a sharp weapon to break through the intensive defense.Receiving a penetrating pass from a teammate in the game can often create the advantage of dribbling past an opponent.It can not only shoot directly,but also create favorable conditions for partners to attack and shoot.At the same time,the wonderful dribbles can increase the charm of the football game and attract fans.European football is at the leading level in the world.It basically represents the development trend of world football.Among all club events organized in Europe,the annual UEFA Champions League gathers the best football players in the world,representing the most advanced level of world football.Therefore,this paper comprehensively adopts the methods of literature,video observation,expert interview and questionnaire survey,mathematical statistics and logical analysis to make a comprehensive and in-depth study on dribbles in the group and knockout matches of the 2020-2021 UEFA Champions League.This paper aims to reveal the application characteristics of dribbling past an opponent,and provide some reference value for Chinese coaches and athletes to study.The results show that in the 2020-2021 UEFA Champions League:(1)The number of successful dribbles has a very significant positive correlation with the number of dribbles and the success rate of dribbles,while the number of dribbles has no correlation with the success rate of dribbles.(2)Because the functions of players in different positions are different,the use of dribbles is also different.(3)There is no significant difference in the number of dribbles and the success rate of dribbles between home and away teams.On the comparison of different game results,there is a significant difference in the number of dribbles and successful dribbles between the winning team and the losing team.The number of dribbles and successful dribbles of the winning team is more than that of the losing team,but there is no significant difference in the success rate of dribbles between the two teams.There is a very significant negative correlation between PPDA and the number of dribbles,and the correlation coefficient is-0.675,but the success rate of dribbles is not correlated with PPDA.(4)The analysis of the successful dribbles in the goal shows that it is rare to get a goal by dribbling past two or more opponents on one’s own.Dribble is more used as a means of team cooperation to help the team get a goal or get a goal after a successful dribble with the help of teammates.The analysis of unsuccessful dribbles on the goal loss shows that the farther away from the goal line of our side,the less likely the unsuccessful dribbles will lead to the goal loss.At the same time,the unsuccessful dribbles in the side will lead to the goal loss is less likely than that in the middle.(5)From the analysis of the application of dribbles in different areas,it is found that the number of dribbles in the middle is greater than that in the side,but the density of dribbles in the side is greater than that in the middle;In addition to the defending third,the success rate of dribbles in the left,middle and right roads is lower as the field is closer to the opponent’s goal line.Maintaining a high level of the ability to dribble past an opponent in football matches requires good physical support and often in the last 15 minutes of the game,players’ physical level is seriously consumed,resulting in a significant decline in the success rate of dribbles. |
