Cultivated land resources are the basis of human survival and development, and the lifeline of a country and a nation. With the rapid development of industrialization and urbanization in China, the cultivated land resources are facing severe threats such as decreasing quantity, decreasing quality and prominent ecological problems.Fundamentally,it is because of people's one-sided cognition of the value of cultivated land for a long time, which leads to the over-emphasis on the production value and social value of cultivated land and the neglect of ecological value in the process of using cultivated land.Facing the severe situation of cultivated land ecological protection,it is necessary to establish and perfect the ecological compensation system for cultivated land resources in order to realize the comprehensive protection of the quantity, quality and ecology of cultivated land resources. In view of this, this paper first clarifies the basis of the theory of ecological compensation of cultivated land resources, emphasizes the severe ecological problems faced by cultivated land resources in China and its inherent multiple ecological values, and concludes the necessity and significance of implementing ecological compensation of cultivated land resources in China.Secondly, the current policies and laws of ecological compensation for cultivated land resources in China are sorted out and analyzed, and the practical situation at the national and local government levels is studied, and the problems and causes in the process of implementing ecological compensation for cultivated land resources in China are analyzed. Finally,in order to solve the problem of ecological compensation for cultivated land resources in China, this paper puts forward some countermeasures, emphasizes the importance of the national conditions of our country, and draws on the relevant practice experience of paying for ecological environmental services in other countries selectively.
