In this paper,we study the scattering problem of a kind of electromagnetic obstacle in a homogeneous chiral medium.The obstacle is an infinitely long cylinder whose axis is parallel to the z axis.Assuming that electromagnetic waves are incident on the obstacle obliquely,we have derived this due to the theory of electromagnetics,The mathematical model of the scattering problem,a second-order elliptic equation system with generalized oblique derivative boundary conditions,and an equivalent system of integral equations are derived using potential theory.This system of integral equations is not the usual Fredholm-type equation of the second type Group.However,through analysis,we proved that it is a Fredholm type operator equation with an index of 0.Using Fredholm theory to prove the existence and uniqueness of the solution of the operator equation.Finally,we give a numerical solution method for the integral equation. |
