The propagation characteristics of Airy pulse is an important subject in the field of laser.Compared with Gaussian or hyperbolic secant pulses,Airy pulses have different properties.Compared with Airy beams, they have three characteristics: self acceleration of group velocity, approximate non dispersion and self-healing.These three interesting characteristics lead to new characteristics of pulse in the field of transmission, and also provide a new way and idea for laser control. In this paper, the Airy pulse is simulated by MATLAB,and the dynamic process of Airy pulse transmission is studied by using distributed Fourier algorithm. The main contents and results of this paper are as follows:1 By input the Gaussian pulse of the initial chirp, and through the zero-dispersion fiber with three order dispersion, the side lobe is generated by the three order dispersion, and the Gaussian pulse is evolved into the Airy pulse.Simultaneous interpreting the time domain curve of the Airy pulse by its time domain diagram, the truncated Airy pulse corresponding to the new Airy pulse is determined at different distances and initial chirps, and appropriately added. In order to produce ideal results, the pulse is broadened or compressed by self phase modulation.2.The biggest difference of the chirped Airy pulse lies in its asymmetric spectrum, which also leads to the great influence of group velocity dispersion on its transmission.Whether the group velocity dispersion is opposite to chirp leads to the difference of Airy pulse propagation. In this paper, the group velocity dispersion(GVD)is analyzed in detail. When the group velocity dispersion(GVD)is opposite to the initial chirp, the pulse will compress rapidly and collapse again, and the reverse Airy pulse will be produced. The solitons generated by the anomalous dispersion of the Airy pulse are also simulated. It provides a possible choice for the application of chirped Airy pulse.
