"Advanced mathematics" as an important basic course in Colleges and universities,has a strong logic.Its teaching quality has a direct impact on students' follow-up professional course learning,comprehensive quality improvement and social skills increase.However,with the further promotion of college enrollment expansion,to a certain extent,it alleviates the tension between supply and demand of higher education in China.At the same time,the number of students entering higher education is increasing rapidly,and the knowledge base of some students is not as solid as that of elite education.At present,colleges and universities generally divide classes according to students' grades and majors,and adopt the natural class teaching mode in the teaching process.The most prominent problem of this mode in the actual teaching process is that students have different foundations,but the teaching difficulty,curriculum objectives are the same,the curriculum progress is the same,and the students with weak basic knowledge cannot keep up with the progress,and cannot meet the needs of postgraduate entrance examination,etc Learning needs of students with better foundation.According to the different intelligence level and achievement of students,stratified teaching can solve the problems in the teaching mode of natural class to a certain extent.But the layered teaching mode needs to evaluate and level the whole grade students.In the course of class,it will disrupt the order of the natural class where the students are,and there are some difficulties in management.According to the survey,at present,there is no large-scale implementation of stratified teaching in Colleges and universities.It is worth studying whether it is necessary to comprehensively promote the mode.For the current research of stratified teaching,most of them are in primary and secondary schools and some courses in higher vocational education,but there is a lack of research on the mode of stratified education in higher education,especially in the basic courses of undergraduate colleges;and there is a lack of statistical basis for the practice of stratified teaching of Advanced mathematics in Colleges and universities;research needs to be done on how to stratified and the difficulties after stratification Further deepening is needed.In people's subjective impression,there is a direct relationship between students' learning achievement in each stage,but the subjective impression can not represent logical reasoning.The correlation between data needs to be explained by statistical model.Taking a university in the West as an example,the author classifies the data by using the hierarchical clustering method and divides them into four clusters according to the clustering effect,and uses the independent chi-square test to make a qualitative analysis between the college entrance examination results of 2017's major subjects(Chinese,math and English)of the students studying Advanced mathematics in a university in the west,and the results show that the students' scores of the main subjects in the college entrance examination are all the same The results show that there is a significant correlation between Advanced mathematics and the main subjects of college entrance examination,and college entrance examination mathematics has the greatest impact on the performance of Advanced mathematics.Therefore,based on the results of empirical analysis,this paper analyzes and discusses the layered teaching method in the process of "Advanced mathematics" teaching,and puts forward the layered scheme by using the TOPSIS comprehensive evaluation model,and puts forward the corresponding solutions for the possible management problems in the layered process.The author uses the results of empirical analysis,combined with the comprehensive evaluation model,to put forward the layered teaching scheme and the layered mode for the Advanced mathematics teaching of the University,in order to improve the teaching effect of the "Advanced mathematics" course.
