In a time when resources are scarce and environmental pollution is serious,the environmental protection industry bears the burden of the global green economic transformation,and green technological innovation as a comprehensive technological innovation carrying economic and ecological values is also an important direction for future technological innovation.The rapid development of the environmental protection industry is inseparable from the support of technology.Therefore,green technology innovation in the environmental protection industry is particularly critical to achieving green economic development and promoting the construction of a beautiful China.As the most important subject of economic activities and technological innovation activities,enterprises can only promote the green technological innovation capabilities of the entire environmental protection industry by improving their green technological innovation capabilities.Therefore,from the perspective of an enterprise,evaluating the current efficiency of green technology innovation in the environmental protection industry and analyzing specific influencing factors are of great significance for the development of green technology innovation in the environmental protection industry.However,the research on green technology innovation in the existing literature is mostly carried out at the regional and industrial levels,and the research at the micro-individual level is relatively lacking.With the continuous expansion of the number and output value of China's environmental protection listed companies,environmental protection listed companies have a certain reference value for the green technology innovation research of the entire environmental protection industry.This paper measures the green technology innovation efficiency of China's environmental protection listed companies and analyzes its influencing factors.The specific contents include:First,define related concepts,elaborate the theoretical basis,and comb the predecessors' research status and progress of green technology innovation efficiency..Second,it summarizes the basic information and technology innovation status of China's environmental protection industry and environmental protection listed companies.Next,the DEA method was selected for efficiency evaluation,and the indicator system of input and output variables was determined.After combining with DEAP 2.1 software,the green technology innovation efficiency of 49 listed environmental protection companies was measured in 2013-2017,and the measurement results were specific.Analysis,comparative analysis between regions,and return to scale analysis.Then,combined with the efficiency value measured by DEA,a two-stage Tobit model regression method is used to empirically study the factors affecting the efficiency of green technology innovation of environmentally-friendly listed companies.Finally,from the perspective of the input,output and influencing factors of green technology innovation,relevant countermeasures and suggestions on how the environmental protection industry can improve its green technology innovation capacity are proposed.Research shows:(1)The level of green technology innovation efficiency in China's environmental protection industry is generally low,but it has increased slightly over the past five years.(2)From the decomposition analysis of efficiency,the low efficiency of pure technology is the main reason for the low overall efficiency of green technology innovation.In terms of regions,enterprises in the western region have the highest efficiency in green technology innovation,followed by the central region,and the eastern region.At least,this may be related to China's series of preferential policies to the west.(3)In terms of influencing factors,the scale of enterprises and the level of regional development have a significant impact on the level of green technology innovation efficiency of enterprises.The reasonable expansion of the scale of enterprises can significantly improve the efficiency of green technology innovation in the environmental protection industry,while the level of regional development restricts the environmental protection enterprises The efficiency of technological innovation;the strength of environmental regulations,the nature of the company's equity,and the quality of workers have not significantly affected the efficiency of green technological innovation in environmental protection enterprises.Based on the above research results,the following suggestions are put forward accordingly:optimize the innovation environment and improve the level of government management;reasonable environmental regulations and comprehensive use of regulatory means;expand the size of enterprises and improve the quality of enterprise management;Quality,improve the allocation of research and development funds;give play to the location advantage,and promote the coordinated development of technology.
