CNPC Financial Sharing Case Study

With the rapid development of economy and the wide use of big data,the financial sharing business with the purpose of making use of the most advanced financial ideas and reducing enterprise management costs arises at the historic moment.Financial sharing provides a new thinking mode for corporate finance through the combination of big data,AI(artificial intelligence),Internet of Things,cloud computing and other great creations,and the continuous refinement,quantification and accuracy of financial processing means for financial indicators.Although the concept of financial sharing has been explored and studied for a long time,it is still not fully developed from the research we have conducted in the field of financial sharing.This paper selects the financial sharing case of China National Petroleum Corporation,the largest oil company in China,for in-depth analysis and discussion,and uses the case analysis method to illustrate the differences and effects before and after the establishment of the financial sharing model.This is of certain practical mean to other large state-owned enterprises which need developing financial sharing services and reducing their management costs.This paper rolls out the study of CNPC's financial sharing.Firstly,it introduces the General Situation of CNPC in detail and points out the problems of the original financial model before CNPC implements financial sharing.Secondly,it introduces the implementation process of financial sharing and the setting of financial organization structure and explains the service flow of financial sharing.Thirdly,starting with the effectiveness analysis of the financial sharing implemented by CNPC,the paper makes a series analysis on the current situation of CNPC's financial sharing,including its cost control,management cost reduction and the construction of financial sharing system investment return rate of calculation,and in-depth analysis and discussion of CNPC financial sharing problems.Finally,the paper provides feasible countermeasures and suggestions for improving the service mode in the later period of CNPC's construction of financial sharing platform.
