Water is necessary in production and life,but under certain conditions,the presence of water will cause the breeding of bacteria,accelerate the corrosion rate of metal surface,and lead to power loss due to icing during power transportation.Inspired by the fact that some plants and animals in nature(such as lotus leaf,dragonfly,etc.)show good water repellent performance,researchers developed superhydrophobic materials,superhydrophobic materials because of its own unique wettability resistance,good biocompatibility,and environmental friendly,such as performance,in the practical application of contemporary and future many fields has a very broad application potential(such as deicing,self cleaning,etc.).But some superhydrophobic materials in use process was affected by different environments,the mechanical durability and stability of challenge,deterioration in the hydrophobic properties disappear even reduce the service life of hydrophobic material,and therefore make excellent mechanical stability and durability of materials used in the actual work aroused people's great interest.This paper presents a method for the preparation of superhydrophobic coatings with excellent mechanical stability and durability to used was the preparation of modified clusters of ZnO particles combined with polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS)prepared ZnO/PDMS superhydrophobic coating,the preparation of the coating had high contact Angle(up to 157~°)and low sliding Angle(as low as 4~°).The key to the formation of ZnO/PDMS superhydrophobic coating was that the clusters of modified ZnO particles can promote the formation of more micron/nano structures on the surface of the coating,which was the key to realize and enhance the hydrophobicity.This method is mainly divided into two aspects:(1)The first was the preparation of ZnO particles and ZnO/PDMS superhydrophobic coatings.Clusters of ZnO particles were prepared by hydrothermal method using a certain molar ratio of zinc nitrate and potassium hydroxide under mild conditions,and the prepared ZnO particles were characterized by XRD,SEM,XPS and other means.Then the clusters of ZnO particles were modified by trifluorooctyl triethoxy silane.The modified clusters of ZnO particles were compounded with PDMS in a certain proportion to prepare ZnO/PDMS superhydrophobic coatings.Finally,the prepared ZnO/PDMS superhydrophobic coating was sprayed on the substrate to form the ZnO/PDMS superhydrophobic coating.(2)The properties of the prepared ZnO/PDMS superhydrophobic coating were studied.In the preparation of ZnO/PDMS superhydrophobic coating,the best preparation method of ZnO/PDMS superhydrophobic coating was found by changing the addition amount of ZnO particles,spraying times,curing temperature and modification of ZnO particles.The mechanical stability of ZnO/PDMS superhydrophobic coating was studied by sandpaper wear test,water drop impact test,tape peel test and quartz sand wear test.The chemical durability of the self-cleaning ZnO/PDMS superhydrophobic coating was studied through acid and alkali resistance experiments.The environmental stability of ZnO/PDMS superhydrophobic coating was studied by changing the temperature and long-term indoor and outdoor exposure experiments.The self-cleaning experiment and oil-water separation experiment of ZnO/PDMS superhydrophobic coating were carried out.Finally,the preparation cost of ZnO/PDMS superhydrophobic coating was estimated.
