In order to promote the recycling of waste polyester fabrics.In this paper,sodium hydroxide used to modify the surface of waste polyester fabrics to introduce carboxyl groups,and then which were finished with graphene oxide(GO)to prepare GO-loaded polyester fabrics(GO@C-PET),the effects of modified polyester carboxylic acid content,GO concentration,p H value and immersion temperature on the GO loading on the surface of polyester fabric was investigated.The surface morphology,element composition and surface structure of GO@C-PET were characterized by using SEM,EDX,FTIR and XPS.Finally,the GO@C-PET samples were used in the adsorption of cationic dyes(rhodamine B,basic red 2 and basic green 4)and Cr(?)in water.The effects of GO loading,reaction temperature,solution p H value,the number of GO loadings,the amount of GO@C-PET added,the inorganic salts and surfactants on removal rate of dye and Cr(?)were also examined,the simultaneous removal performance of GO@C-PET for rhodamine B(Rh B)and Cr(?)was also investigated.In addition,the loading performance of GO on the surface of different fiber fabrics and its adsorption and removal performance for Rh B and Cr(?)were also studied.The experimental results show that the increase of the amount of carboxylic acid and GO concentration on the surface of polyester,the increase of finishing bath temperature and the decrease of p H value can significantly increase the loading of GO on the surface of polyester,which is beneficial to the loading of GO on the surface of polyester fabric.GO@C-PET shows significant adsorption and removal performance for Rh B and Cr(?)in aqueous solution.The increase of GO loading,the increase of reaction temperature and the number of GO loadings can significantly improve the adsorption and removal performance of Rh B and Cr(?).By increasing the amount of GO@C-PET added,the Rh B and Cr(?)in the water can be almost completely removed.GO@C-PET shows excellent performance in the removal of Rh B and Cr(?)under acidic conditions,but it is not conducive to the removal of Cr(?)under neutral and alkaline conditions.Inorganic salts and surfactants in the reaction system can inhibit the adsorption of Rh B and Cr(?)by GO@C-PET to a certain extent.GO@C-PET shows adsorption and removal performance for cationic dyes of different structures.Among them,Basic Green 4 and Basic Red 2 with small molecular weight are easier to remove.In addition,the load of GO on the surface of modified polyester fabric and its removal performance of Rh B and Cr(?)are better than other fiber materials.
