In recent years,the development of additive manufacturing technology has been very rapid.Integrated additive manufacturing technology for manufacturing embedded electronic products has become a new development trend.PEEK(polyetheretherketone),as a thermoplastic special engineering plastic,not only has excellent performance,but also can be manufactured by Fused Deposition Modeling.Therefore,it is very suitable as a structure of embedded electronic products.Now there are many problems to be solved in manufacturing PEEK parts by Fused Deposition Modeling,which have attracted the attention of many researchers.This paper studies the forming process of PEEK by Fused Deposition Modeling.The main research work includes the following five points:(1)This paper studied the influence of process parameters such as nozzle temperature,forming speed,layer thickness and extrusion width on the surface roughness of FDM parts.The degree of influence of each factor on the surface roughness of the part was compared,and it was found that under certain combinations of process parameters,the surface morphology of the part would be significantly abnormal.(2)According to the cross-section photos taken in different situations,the change of the cross-sectional shape of the wire during the forming process was analyzed,and the formation process of the surface contour of the FDM part was obtained.Based on this,a prediction model for predicting the surface roughness of the part according to the process parameters was established.The model has been well verified by experiments.(3)Through orthogonal experiments,the effects of the four factors of chamber temperature,layer thickness,printing speed,and filling grating angle on the tensile strength of PEEK parts were studied,and the optimized process parameter combination was obtained.Based on the test data and the fracture photos of each group of samples,the failure modes of the samples under different combinations of process parameters were analyzed,and the reaso ns for the influence of each process parameter on the strength of the part were proposed.(4)Through the control experiment,this paper studied the influence of heat treatment time and heat treatment temperature on the tensile strength of PEEK parts,and obtain the optimal heat treatment process parameters.Based on the DSC curves and fracture photos of each group of samples,the specific reasons for the influence of heat treatment process parameters on the tensile strength of PEEK parts were further analyzed.(5)The interlayer pre-melting device was designed and installed to heat the interlayer bonding interface of PEEK parts,and the effectiveness of this method for improving the interlayer bonding strength of PEEK parts was verified by experiments.
