Culture on Jade is an excellent traditional culture of Chinese deeply ingrained soul,which influences the world to date.Jade ornament has always been a significant representative of culture on Jade.Values and aesthetics of traditional Chinese culture could be embodied through cultural symbols,mold forms and wearing methods.With the rapid development of era,science,technology as well the globalization of culture,jade ornament is gradually with modern cultural attributes and formal characteristics.Three angles of concrete,abstract and imagery formal language will be in research from this paper,they are from super-realistic form,the substitution and reconstruction of bionic mold;the re-creation and imitation of reality,to stereo and multi-dimensional molding language;conscious and unconscious formal language to the deconstruction and reconstruction of traditional culture and symbolic language;the interpretation of emotional imagery,the dual meaning of form and prospect.The focus is on exploration of formal characteristics of modern jade carving ornament.Meanwhile,through theoretical research to guide the practical composition of modern jade carving ornament will also contribute to the new application,development as well as formal conversion of traditional culture on jade in modern jade carving ornament.
