Nantong kite is an ancient traditional handicraft in Nantong,which is an important hub related to people’s livelihood.With the continuous development and progress of the mobile Internet era,many traditional handicrafts,which used to be narrative products of people’s life,have gradually withdrawn from the public view after their essential characteristics have been weakened.With the increasing demand for mass entertainment,the user experience brought by convenient forms of entertainment has been highlighted,resulting in the emergence of fragmented forms of entertainment.Therefore,using the characteristics of interactive entertainment combined with fragmented entertainment,analyzing its culture and value,combining the visual,auditory,interactive characteristics of Nantong kites with digital technology,so as to create a new connection between traditional handicrafts and the public,and how to reshape the value of traditional handicrafts has become an important issue in its display and dissemination.Due to various limitations,Nantong kites are not paid attention to and difficult to inherit.The research of this topic is to combine with fragmented entertainment methods,so as to provide the audience with a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of Nantong kites and add a new reference road for its inheritance and development.At the same time,the analysis of fragmented entertainment should focus on what kind of ideas,in order to better fit the characteristics of Nantong kite itself for beneficial communication,and provide new ideas for the inheritance of traditional art.
