With the participation of reform and opening up in the division of global value chain,China has grown into a country with the first manufacturing competitiveness index.As a worldwide manufacturing center,it is self-evident that manufacturing industry plays a dominant role in China’s economic and social development and makes great contributions.However,the problems exposed in the process of its rapid development shackle the development of China’s manufacturing industry.This extensive development mode of high investment,high consumption and high pollution deviates from the dominant idea of sustainable development.Low carbon economy with "low energy consumption,low emission and low pollution" is the general trend.However,in the development of various industries,the innovation ability and important technology of economic entities are lack,and the low-carbon innovation development of manufacturing industry needs to be improved.With the deepening of the scope and content of low-carbon cooperation among enterprises,low-carbon innovation cooperation is developing towards networking and systematization.Manufacturing low-carbon innovation network provides a platform for achieving low-carbon performance.With the help of low-carbon innovation network,the cooperation among the participants can solve the problems of lack of resources,lack of innovation ability and low innovation efficiency existing in a single subject,and improve the market competitiveness of low-carbon products through complementary advantages.Under the global value chain,high and new technology characterized by low-carbon innovation has become an important source of manufacturing development.As the micro main body of manufacturing industry,manufacturing enterprises are not only the suppliers of most material products,but also the creators of a large number of pollutants.In order to maintain its own sustainable development,it must also take on the mission of actively responding to the national call for low-carbon and taking on the responsibility for low-carbon.However,there are multi-level and unbalanced phenomena in the development of manufacturing industry.Limited by the ability of low-carbon innovation and capital accumulation,most of the manufacturing industries are in the low-end value chain when they participate in the vertical division of international industry.Therefore,it is very important to study the impact of manufacturing low-carbon innovation network on low-carbon innovation performance under the global value chain,to realize the value upgrading of manufacturing industry in the global value chain and the radiation effect of low-carbon innovation development on China’s low-carbon economy from point to area,which is conducive to promoting the comprehensive low-carbon process of social economy and enhancing the country’s international competitiveness.Firstly,this paper reviews the research status at home and abroad to lay the foundation for the following analysis.This paper constructs the influence mechanism of global value chain participation on low-carbon innovation performance of manufacturing industry from two dimensions of participation breadth and participation depth;discusses the influence mechanism of low-carbon innovation network on low-carbon innovation performance of manufacturing industry from two aspects of network structure and network relationship of low-carbon innovation network;finally discusses the interaction mechanism of global value chain participation and low-carbon innovation network on low-carbon innovation performance.Finally,it comes to the conclusion,and puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions from three aspects: Global Value Chain participation strategy,low-carbon innovation network strategy and low-carbon innovation performance improvement strategy.
