Ecofeminism And Its Contemporary Values

Since modern times,everything has been experiencing rapid development,people enjoy the convenience of development,but at the same time,the problems behind the development are also constantly bothering people: economic crisis,social unrest,ecological disaster,gender contradiction and many other problems in front of people.In such a background,ecofeminism with diversified connotation has been mentioned again.Specifically,the diversity of ecofeminism is reflected in five aspects:paying attention to gender and class equality.It advocates a kind of "deliberative philosophy",encourages all possible people to participate in the process of formulating opinions,and dispels the contradiction between gender and class through negotiation and dialogue,so as to realize the harmony of human beings as a whole;Oppose the development of limit.Development should be based on people's survival necessity,encourage a kind of "survival economy",affirm the value of women and nature in the process of development,and strive to seek a sustainable development path;The "reset" of female culture with care as the core.Ecofeminism opposes the patriarchal culture with opposition as the core,emphasizes that there is a unity between man and all things,and holds that man,as a responsible cognitive subject,should bear the responsibility of caring for nature and all others;Equality and justice with realistic pursuit.Compared with the analysis of the empty concept of "justice",ecofeminism pays more attention to the practical equality in people's real life and strives for the rights and interests of people of different gender,color and race“ Ecofeminism holds that man and nature are in a benign interactive relationship,which is different and continuous.When man obtains value from nature,he should respect the development logic of nature itself.Based on the existing research of ecofeminism,this paper focuses on the interpretation and analysis of ecofeminism criticism,focusing on its thinking about the root of the rule,criticism of dualism and Ruling Logic,and criticism of patriarchal development view and scientific view;On the other hand,it is not limited to ecofeminism,but hopes to enrich and deepen the understanding of the philosophical standpoint of ecofeminism by combining with feminism and other related thoughts,especially the standpoint theory under the scientific research of feminism and postcolonialism's concern for the third world and women;As one of the mainstream ecological thoughts in the west,ecofeminism contains the unity of truth,goodness and beauty;Finally,this paper attempts to analyze the problems and possible solutions in the process of localization of ecofeminism,and summarizes the valuable aspects for China's future construction and environmental protection.
