The issue of frequent climate disasters caused by greenhouse gas emissions has become particularly important in recent years due to the continuous emergence of extreme climates such as global warming,and low-carbon development and control of greenhouse gas emissions have become inevitable requirements for the sustainable development of society.In the post-epidemic era,facing the changeable and turbulent social,economic and even global environment,stakeholders have higher requirements for sustainable development of enterprises.Especially in the new economic situation and the background of global economic uncertainty and complexity,Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR)and innovation have been given a new direction and new connotation of green development.However,in the era of "sustainable development" and "technological innovation",entrepreneurs are caught in the dilemma of how to allocate the resources required for CSR and technological innovation.CSR and green technology innovation are the two major factors for companies to survive the crisis and achieve further sustainable growth,what is the relationship between CSR and green technology innovation,and does CSR induce green technology innovation? There are fewer studies on CSR and green technology innovation,and even fewer studies on the weighting factors between them.In conclusion,there is an urgent need for research on the impact of CSR on green technology innovation and the weighting factors between them in the literature.Using a sample of Chinese A-share listed companies published from 2014--2018,this thesis investigated whether CEO narcissism moderates the effect of heterogeneous CSR on green technology innovation on the basis of CSR content and willingness heterogeneity.The main effect and moderating effect models were constructed using multiple linear regression,and REGHDFE estimation was performed to draw empirical findings.Meanwhile,on the basis of the empirical study,Vensim software was used to simulate the empirical results in order to observe how green technology innovation changes under the influence of the factors introduced in this study,and then to propose countermeasures to improve the level of CSR and green technology innovation.The empirical findings show that:(1)Internal CSR has a significant positive impact on green technology innovation.(2)External CSR has a significant negative impact on green technology innovation.(3)Voluntary CSR has a significant positive impact on green technology innovation.(4)Mandatory CSR has a significant negative impact on green technology innovation.(5)CEO narcissism has a significant positive influence on green technology innovation.(6)CEO narcissism positively regulates the influence of internal CSR on green technology innovation.(7)CEO narcissism negatively regulates the influence of external CSR on green technology innovation.(8)CEO narcissism positively regulates the influence of voluntary CSR on green technology innovation.(9)CEO narcissism positively regulates the influence of mandatory CSR on green technology innovation.The contributions of this thesis are:(1)Refined classification of CSR.This study systematically sorted CSR from the perspective of fulfillment content and willingness to fulfill,and subdivided CSR into voluntary CSR and mandatory CSR,internal CSR and external CSR,which is conducive broadening the perspective of CSR research and enriching CSR-related research.(2)Analysis of the power-change role of CEO narcissism on the relationship between CSR and green technology innovation.By introducing CEO narcissism as a weighting factor,the framework of thinking in the study of the relationship between CSR and corporate green technology innovation is expanded.Exploring the influence of managers' imperfect rationality on the firm's decision-making process from their perspective helps to further explain the inconsistent findings in the research on CSR and corporate green technology innovation.(3)Multi-dimensional analysis of the influencing factors of green technology innovation in a dual carbon context.This study explored the influencing factors of green technology innovation from the organizational level(CSR)and the individual level(CEO narcissism),which realizes the combination of meso and micro,and helps to enrich the research level and theoretical basis of the influencing factors of green technology innovation.(4)A combination of empirical and simulation analysis was used to introduce system dynamics into the context of management,achieving a combination of multidisciplinary research methods.
