Research On The Impact Of Disruptive Innovation On The Growth Of My Country's Medical Device Industry

As the most populous country in the world,China has a huge demand for medical appliance.Compared with developed countries such as the United States,Japan,and Europe,the development level of China's medical appliance industry is still backward in terms of competitiveness of core technologies,technology research and development capabilities,human resources,and capital allocation.Although in recent years,China's medical appliance industry has developed rapidly under the driving forces of national policy,market demand,consumption upgrading,accelerated aging process and other aspects,it is worth noting that at present,the market share of domestic medical appliance in China is relatively low,and most of the products are high-energy and low-value-added products such as disposable consumables,wheelchairs,and sanitary materials.High-end medical appliance products only account for a small part.And foreign-funded enterprises have almost monopolized China's high-end medical appliance market.the reduction of medical costs and the increment of market share in the past decade has brought disruptive challenges to the high-end market of foreign-funded enterprises.Whether the development of China's medical appliance industry can be defined as disruptive innovation,the analysis of objective theoretical data is needed.Due to the rapid development of China's medical appliance industry,the existing theory lacks of disruptive innovation research on the medical appliance industry in recent ten years,this paper takes this as a breakthrough point to discuss.It has guiding significance for enriching and expanding theoretical basis and promoting industrial growth and development.Firstly,this paper combs and expounds the relevant theoretical basis of this research,elaborates the conditions and influencing factors of the disruptive innovation theory,studies the internal mechanism and external conditions of emerging industries on the basis of inheriting the theory of traditional industry growth and analyzes its growth mechanism from different levels.It is found that the disruptive innovation theory is applicable to analyze the internal mechanism of industrial growth,which paves the way for the following research.Secondly,this paper analyzes the formation mechanism of disruptive innovation theory,the mechanism of general innovation and industrial growth,the internal mechanism of disruptive innovation theory and the growth of emerging industries in detail and further consolidates the theoretical connection between the theory of disruptive innovation and the industry.It proposes an effective path to achieve disruptive innovation and promote industrial growth from the perspective of market and technology,which lays a foundation and connection for subsequent research.Thirdly,the development of medical appliance industry in China is introduced in detail.This paper introduces the development of China's medical appliance industry,and clearly presents the existence of technology opportunity window and market opportunity window of medical appliance industry,and reveals the unity and applicability of disruptive innovation theory and medical appliance industry.This paper studies the correlation and regularity between disruptive innovation index factor and the medical appliance industry in China by adopting the factor analysis method.The empirical results show that disruptive innovation has a positive correlation with the growth of medical appliance industry in China,and the value of KMO is 0.700,which is more than 0.6,indicating that the observed variable is suitable for factor analysis.Five of these factors illustrate the impact of disruptive innovation on technology,and two factors explain the impact of disruptive innovation on market structure.Similarly,Bartlett's sphericity test results which are significant at the level of P=0.000 also meet the requirements.Both of them can show that the factors selected are suitable for factor analysis and provides a new perspective for the application and research of disruptive innovation theory at the industrial level.Finally,the disruptive innovation theory is used to solve the current problems in China's medical appliance industry,combining with the current situation of China's medical appliance industry.It is of far-reaching significance to change the backward situation of China's medical appliance industry from three different perspectives of technology,market and achievement transformation,and to enhance the core competitiveness and market share of domestic medical appliance.Once again,it deeply explains the applicability of the disruptive innovative growth mechanism to China's medical appliance industry.Due to the characteristics of disruptive innovation,Therefore the innovation of this paper lies in the fact that it finds out indicators that can replace disruptive innovation to explain the innovative degree of China's medical appliance industry through the calculation and application of industrial data.The main innovation of this paper is that the innovation of demand-induced technology is a wire,causing competition in the existing market,which changes the original market structure of the market.At the same time,the method of factor analysis can more objectively evaluate the connection between industrial growth and disruptive innovation.
