Research On The Construction Of Collective Memory In Regional Characteristic Blocks

Nowadays,more and more regional characteristic blocks take collective memory as a marketing strategy to build a city brand,however,the problems of "amnesia","pseudomemory" and "disconnection" respectively happened in the aspect of human,space and time have been overlooked.Based on the extant problems of blocks memory,from the perspective of collective memory,through theoretical research,case comparison study,and deductive reasoning research methods,based on the existing problems and theoretical analysis,this paper Proposes a constructive system and design principles for collective memory in territorially distinctive blocks.Among them,the memory system of territorially distinctive blocks is constructed by memory subject,memory object and temporal dimensions.It also puts forward three aspects: the construction of memory subject(top-down,bottom-up),the construction level of memory object(material level,non-material level),and the time dimension(synchronic,diachronic).Through the comparative analysis of the memory systems of Shanghai Xintiandi,Shanghai Tianzifang,Chengdu Taikoo Li,Omotesando-no-Mountain and Changde Old West Gate,this paper clarifies the development stages and characteristics of the collective memory of regional characteristic blocks in the 21 st century.It provides an in-depth analysis of the memory system of the specific case of Changde Old West Gate,and summarizes the shortcomings and contributions of Changde Old West Gate to the development of contemporary regional character blocks.This paper proposes design principles for a more humanistic and warm-memory regional character blocks in the Human Culture 3.0 stage of blocks memory development.The principle focuses on the humanistic renewal and community creation of the memorizes,considers the regionalization,diversification,and routinization of the memory object.And try to maintain the balance between tradition and modern,local and international,design and growth in synchronic and diachronic.The "authenticity" of the memories,the "regionality" of the memory objects,and the "continuity" of the time dimension are used to counteract the problems faced by the regional characteristic blocks in terms of human,space,and time.
