Concrete is an important building material for modern military engineering as well as civil air defense engineering.At the same time,the development of super-sonic aircraft has made the research of the special projectile development.Because the research on the penetration of the special-shaped section warhead into the concrete is still in the initial stage of development,this paper sets the section description parameters of the elliptical section penetrator based on the cavity expansion theory of the traditional warhead,using numerical simulation and experimental research.The influence of the change of the cross-section characteristic parameters of the elliptical section on the ballistic characteristics during the process of concrete penetration and angular penetration was studied,and the experimental results were compared with the simulation results.The main contents of this article were as follows:(1)Introduced part of cavity expansion theory used in traditional concrete penetrationBy examining the experimental research in a large amount of literatures and using the cavity expansion theory to calculate the applicability of the cavity expansion theory in the penetration process of the traditional projectile into the concrete.And by comparison,the numerical simulation results of the Lagrange algorithm in LS-DYNA software are consistent with the calculation results of cavity expansion theory.(2)Numerical simulation study on the penetration of concrete targets with elliptical penetratorsThis paper introduces the algorithm of LS-DYNA software for dynamic simulation and the material HJC model parameters used in the numerical simulation process.At the same time,based on the theory of super-sonic vehicle design,a variety of elliptical cross-section penetrators with different cross-sections are designed.For the same initial velocity of 800m/s,the resistance characteristics,velocity changes,acceleration changes and ballistic curves of different cross-section parameters during warhead penetration and the effect of the angle of deflection of the projectile.(3)Numerical simulation study on concrete target with elliptical sectional penetrator with angled penetrationUsing LS-DYNA software to simulate the process of an ellipse-like penetrator penetrating a concrete target at the same initial velocity in the presence of an angle and an angle of attack.And get the conclusion of inductive changes in section characteristic parameters affect the resistance characteristics,speed changes,acceleration changes,trajectory curve and projectile deflection angle during the penetration process.(4)Experimental study on penetration of grout concrete target by elliptical section penetratorThe penetrating experiment of the semi-infinite mortar target with elliptical cross-section penetrators with different cross-section parameters at 800m/s initial velocity was designed and implemented.The experimental results were compared with the numerical simulation results to improve the credibility of the numerical simulation results.
