This paper analyzes the dynamic properties of external energy Gatling gun of the automatic recyclable cartridge based on a pre-research project.Firstly,the working cycle diagram of Gatling gun was determined with the approaches to analyzing interactive relations of its components,its working principle,internal ballistic characteristics,and the barrel force based on the research status at home and abroad.This paper analyzes the movement law of the cam curves of Gatling gun,derives the cam curve equation,optimizes the fifth-degree polynomial modified trapezoidal acceleration curve using the particle swarm optimization algorithm,verifies the feasibility and effectiveness in the design of cam curve of Gatling gun,and derives the theoretical and actual contour surface equation of cam curve of Gatling gun based on the principle of conjugate tooth profile.Secondly,on the one hand,this paper has determined the optimal structural design of the movement group with the approach to analyzing the locking mode,working principle of Gatling gun,and to calculating the structural parameters such as the transmission efficiency and force conversion coefficient of the movement group,and to getting the relations of the lateral width of the center,the ideal point of the guide rail,the inclination of the guide rail,and the transmission efficiency finally.On the other hand,the handover process of the bomb and the automatic recyclable cartridge was analyzed to establish a mathematical model of the handover and transfer structure,and finally get the structural parameters of it.Finally,this paper analyzes dynamic properties of Gatling gun with the corresponding dynamic simulation analysis software based on the system state equation,which is derived by the bond space model.The virtual prototype technology was used to simulate and analyze the movement group,the handover and transfer structure of the bombs and the automatic recyclable cartridge.Combined with shooting experiments,the correctness of the theoretical analysis was verified.The above research methods and results provide a reference for the further design and improvement of Gatling gun.
