In recent years,with the rapid development and application of the Internet,artificial intelligence and big data in the field of transportation,intelligent vehicles have become more and more popular.It will gradually become a space for information exchange,and entertainment,and also bring unprecedented rich experience for drivers.As an important assistant tool in driving behavior in the future,intelligent vehicle instrument interface also changes continuously in appearance,and information interaction volume from traditional physical instrument to current intelligent all liquid crystal instrument.Its powerful interface and richer display content can meet people’s driving needs more comprehensively.However,in the current technical background,the intelligent vehicle is still in the auxiliary driving stage,which still needs to be operated by the driver,and the scope of the instrument interface is still in the focus area of the driver in the driving process.On the basis of ensuring that the driver can scan and understand the contents of the screen quickly,improving the driver’s visual search efficiency is becoming the design trend of intelligent vehicle instrument,which has a high value for the design and research of the current interface.This paper takes the intelligent vehicles instrument interface as the research object,and explores the design method of intelligent vehicles instrument interface from the perspective of visual search.First of all,the related theories of visual search and intelligent automobile instrument interface are studied.From the perspective of visual search,the interface elements of layout,size and color are analyzed and summarized,and the relationship between visual search and intelligent vehicles instrument interface is discussed.Then,from the two dimensions of user research and experimental research,the experimental analysis of the influence of information architecture,layout,color and other interface elements of the instrument interface on the visual search efficiency is carried out;and according to the research and experimental results,the design strategy is constructed from the framework layer,the structure layer and the presentation layer.Finally,according to the design strategy,the design practice is carried out,and the eye movement experiment and SUS usability test are used to evaluate the design objectively and subjectively.
