| As the economy continues to develop,the intensity of exploitation of mineral resources is also growing,every year a lot of tailings dumps to produce tailings repository.As an important infrastructure for mining,tailings ponds are huge in number and widely distributed,and have their own characteristics.However,my country’s tailings mainly adopt the upstream dam stacking method,which has poor stability,leading to occasional tailings pond accidents,which not only brings huge economic losses,but also brings bad social and environmental impacts.Therefore,to ensure the security and stability of tailings is very important.This paper relies on the actual project of Wanlongshan tailing pond to calculate and analyze the seepage of the tailing pond.The main research work is as follows.(1)According to the relevant data,the topography of the tailings pond and the calculation parameters required for the three-dimensional seepage analysis are obtained.Using the powerful 3D modeling capabilities of CATIA software,a 3D geometric model of the tailings pond at different elevations was established.(2)In the MIDAS/GTS NX finite element analysis software,the three-dimensional seepage conditions of the tailings ponds at different elevations are calculated,and the total water head,infiltration line,and infiltration line of the tailings ponds at different elevations under the normal water level and the flood operating water level are calculated.The law of hydraulic gradient distribution.(3)The numerical simulation shows that under the final elevation of the tailings dam,the local infiltration line will be too high.It is necessary to add appropriate drainage and reinforcement measures.At the same time,the main methods of drainage and reinforcement of the tailings reservoir are introduced.Scope of application.Considering the actual situation,three measures,including drainage walls,radiation wells,and horizontal-vertical combined drainage,are considered.The three-dimensional seepage simulation of the dam with different drainage and reinforcement measures is carried out,and the change of the infiltration line under different drainage measures is obtained.After reasonable arrangement of drainage measures,the buried depth of the infiltration line can be effectively reduced.Considering factors such as construction cost and later operation and maintenance,the vertical-horizontal combined drainage is finally selected as the final drainage reinforcement plan.(4)According to the calculation results of seepage flow,the slope stability analysis of the finally adopted drainage reinforcement plan is carried out,and the comparison is made with that before the addition of drainage measures.The results showed that adding vertical-horizontal row after dam seepage measures can significantly improve slope stability,dam safety coefficient increased from 1.132 to 1.313. |
