Urban Waterfront Landscape Design From The Perspective Of Ecology And Regional Culture

Urban waterfront space is the birthplace of the regional context of many cities at home and abroad.As an open platform of the city,urban waterfront space provides a good display space for the unique urban culture in the regional context.Urban waterfront space is not only the extension of urban culture,but also the embodiment of urban culture.Urban waterfront space with good cultural design can not only inherit and develop urban culture,but also enhance the overall cultural image of the city.At the same time,urban waterfront space,as the most ecological value of many public spaces in the city,plays an important role in the overall natural ecological environment of the city.Urban waterfront space has a certain mediating effect on the overall natural ecological environment,climate,rain and flood of the city.At the same time,urban waterfront space with good ecology is also a "green garden" close to nature for urban residents.Urban waterfront space with good culture and ecology can not only provide healthy and livable urban environment and ecological green urban waterfront space for urban residents,but also inherit and carry forward the city's unique cultural heritage,becoming the city's business card and cultural display window.It can also stimulate the economic vitality of urban waterfront space and even the whole city,and bring certain economic benefits for the development of the city.In this paper,the ecological and cultural urban waterfront landscape design as a research topic,through the theoretical research on the urban waterfront landscape design,ecological design and cultural design,and through the corresponding analysis of the problems in the urban waterfront landscape design,this paper discusses the contemporary domestic design strategies and methods for the ecological and cultural part of the urban waterfront landscape;And the classic cases at home and abroad are analyzed,from which the design strategy with reference value is extracted;through the above way,a more systematic and comprehensive ecological and cultural urban waterfront space design system is obtained,and finally through the landscape design of the left bank of Chuhe River(Liuhe New Town section)in Nanjing as an example,the design practice is carried out,and the ecological and cultural urban waterfront landscape design is further explored So as to realize the better integration of ecology and culture in urban waterfront landscape space,and promote the better development of urban ecology and culture.
