A Study On The Evolution Model Of The Construction Pattern Of County Villages And Towns From The Perspective Of Social-spatial Relationship

China has been transferred from “Native-rural China” to “Urban-rural China”.“Native-rural China” was heavily based on agriculture,living on the soil,and running in the village.While “Urban-rural China” is not relying on the soil,bidding farewell to the agriculture involution,and integrating the urban and rural areas.Behind this transformation,the relations changes in urban-rural,human-environment,and industrial-agricultural,have led to the drastic restructuring of rural economic,social and spatial.As the space expression form of urban and rural socio-economic at the county level,the town-village construction pattern(TVCP)presents a different evolution path.Under the background of urban-rural integrated development strategy,refining the TVCP evolution modes and constructing a scientific and reasonable TVCP are important entry points to impel new-type urbanization and rural revitalization.This research has both theoretical and practical significance.This paper,firstly,from the perspective of “Society-Space” relationship,analyzed the TVCP evolution logic in the context of the transformation of urban-rural China,and sorts out the three types of development paths.Secondly,Kunshan,Gaochun,and Guanyun are selected as typical counties as case area.Based on land use change survey data of 2009 and 2018,the spatial and temporal characteristics of the TVCP evolution in three counties were compared using GIS spatial analysis methods.And the mechanism of influencing factors was discussed.On this basis,the three TVCP evolution modes,namely,agricultural production,industrial production,and ecological consumption are refined,and the spatial characteristics,evolutionary dynamics,and future urban-rural integration development priorities of the corresponding models are summarized.Finally,this paper clarifies the TVCP optimization guidance in the new era,and proposes corresponding optimization strategies.The main conclusions of the paper are as follows:(1)TVCP,as the spatial organization form of social relations in the county,its evolution is a typical process of production of space.In the process of rapid urbanization,rural areas have successively experienced five different stages of social economy.In the meantime,the difference of elements agglomeration caused by the administrative power and market capital becomes unbalanced productivity,which promotes the transformation of town-villages from the initial agricultural production space to the industrial production space,and then to the ecological consumption space.In the process of changes in production relations,multiple evolutionary paths have been continuously differentiated,forming current diversified TVCP.(2)The TVCP evolutions in Kunshan,Gaochun and Guanyun have different temporal-spatial characteristics and mechanism of influencing factors.As an economically developed industrial county,the TVCP in Kunshan has undergone a dramatic reconstruction.The scale structure of city-town-village evolves to a "spindle shape",and spatial feature is "growth dispersion,reduced agglomeration".The land use form has been transformed from disorderly and inefficient to compact.The influence of industrial economy and government regulation is more significant.The TVCP in Gaochun,as a well-known tourist county with beautiful ecology,has divided the evolution.The scale structure of evolves to a "pyramid shape",and spatial feature is "growth agglomeration,reduced agglomeration".The land function is transformed into a multi-functional compound such as commerce and tourism.The impact of the natural environment and government regulation is more significant.The TVCP in Guanyun County,as a traditional agricultural area,has a stable evolutionary situation.The scale structure of evolves to a "I-shaped",and spatial feature is "growth agglomeration,reduced dispersion".The land use form of village showed shrewd contraction.The impact of the location and traffic is more significant.(3)Based on the case studies,this paper refined three types of TVCP evolution modes: agricultural production,industrial production,and ecological consumption.The agricultural production-type evolution mode is characterized by the polarization between the expansion of city and contraction of villages.The driving mechanism is urbanization driven by social demand.The future development of urban-rural integration focuses on the equalization of public services.The industrial productiontype evolution mode is characterized by the expansion of multi-center towns and the conversion form villages to communities.The driving mechanism is industrialization promoted by the combination of capital and power.The future of urban-rural integration should focus on people-oriented social integration.The ecological consumption-type evolution mode is characterized by the expansion of villages in the ecological landscape area and the withdrawal of villages in the ecological protection area.The driving mechanism is the commercialization of rural space driven by consumer demand.The development of urban-rural integration should focus on the industry convergence.(4)The TVCP optimization is an important starting point to promote the urbanrural integration of development.The optimization should take regional function coordination,efficient spatial organization,and effective spatial governance as the goals.This paper put forward optimization in accordance with local conditions,from the perspective of "region-element",to meet the needs of the differentiated TVCP.The optimization strategy is “clearing the dominant functions,reorganizing the spatial layout,strengthening planning and management”.Firstly,through the evaluation of the resource and environmental carrying capacity of the town-villages,the dominant functions are clarified so that town-villages can develop according to their comparative advantages.Secondly,according to different dominant functions,choose the corresponding pattern to improve the efficiency of elements flow.Finally,the planning and management shall be strengthened,and carried out from the three-level scale of county-town-village,to ensure the implement of the TVCP optimization.
