In recent years,with the increasing number of cars,traffic accidents have emerged one after another.Vehicle borne millimeter wave radar has gradually become a hot research direction.High precision speed measurement and tracking of vehicles is an important means to prevent traffic accidents.In this paper,on the platform of 77 GHz vehicle mounted millimeter wave radar,the radar algorithm with high range and speed measurement accuracy under MIMO system and the multi-target tracking filtering algorithm are designed to achieve the threedimensional information acquisition and tracking of vehicles.The main work of this paper is as follows1.The high precision speed measurement method of 3D speed measuring radar is designed to obtain the real speed of vehicle.Firstly,an angle measurement algorithm in 77 GHz MIMO system is designed to solve the azimuth and elevation angle of the target.Secondly,a radar ranging and velocity measurement method is designed.In order to reduce the number of false alarm targets,two-dimensional constant false alarm detection is carried out.In view of the fact that the radar detection speed is radial speed,combined with the measured azimuth and pitch angle,two vehicle speed estimation methods based on spatial straight line fitting are designed.The real vehicle speed is solved by target clustering,centroid extraction,setting time sliding window,straight line fitting and other steps,and the speed measurement accuracy is high.2.The track management and multi-target tracking filtering algorithm of 3D velocity radar are designed.Starting from the track initiation of three-dimensional velocity radar,the data association of three-dimensional velocity radar is analyzed,and an improved greedy matching algorithm is designed to realize one-to-one matching between predicted and detected points.Finally,singer model and extended Kalman filter are used to realize multi-target tracking,which can effectively track and measure the velocity and range of targets on three-dimensional plane.3.Based on the hardware platform,the software design of 3D velocity radar is completed.The modules of system initialization,system configuration,waveform generation and sampling,signal processing,solving multi-target three-dimensional information and data transmission are described respectively.The three-dimensional velocity radar can detect vehicle targets and track multi-target in real time.Finally,the results of range and velocity measurement and multi-target tracking filtering of 3D velocity measurement radar are given through field test,and the effectiveness of waveform and algorithm is verified.
