As the core component of the satellite,the onboard computer undertakes the mission control,data processing and load management of the entire satellite,which is crucial to the success of the entire satellite project.The onboard computer runs in the outer space environment,and is susceptible to various effects of space radiation on the electronic circuit equipment,resulting in a variety of software and hardware failures.Therefore,it is necessary to design a highly reliable fault-tolerant system to ensure the normal operation of the onboard computer.Combining mission requirements and the characteristics of micro-satellites,this paper designs an intelligent fault-tolerant and redundant system for the onboard computers of microsatellites.The system is equipped with two sets of computers which can operate completely independently,and supports two working modes of dual computer hot standby and dual computer cold standby.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)A onboard computer fault diagnosis algorithm based on machine learning is designed.The support vector machine algorithm in machine learning is used to construct a fault diagnosis model,which enables the onboard computer to have the ability to diagnose autonomous faults in orbit.Without the participation of ground measurement and control,the onboard computer can monitor its own working status in real time,and automatically switch to the standby computer to work after discovering a single computer failure.(2)The software and hardware design of the fault-tolerant and redundant system of onboard computer is completed.On the hardware,the key components of the onboard computer under dual-computer backup are studied and designed,such as authority management,output isolation,and hardware watchdog,etc.Based on the Markov chain model,the reliability analysis and calculation of the onboard computer under hot standby and cold standby are carried out.On the onboard computer system software,program software such as heartbeat monitoring,memory fault tolerance and dual-computer synchronization are designed to ensure that the onboard computer has the ability to operate stably for a long time.(3)According to the design scheme of this paper,the principle prototype is developed,and the function test of the principle prototype is carried out.The qualification level thermal cycle and thermal vacuum reliability environmental tests of the principle prototype are completed,which verifies that the designed onboard computer has the ability to work in vacuum high and low temperature environments.
